Post cruise we were able to store our luggage while we went onto Iguazu and Mendoza. Good location in Recoleta, safe and quiet in a residencial área. Close to restaurants and the famous Recolecta Cemmetry where Evita Perón is burried. Room was clean , spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast was ok with limited items. Our sincere thanks goes to Cecilia at the front desk for every thing she did for us.
We have just stayed 3 nights here in our first time in Buenos Aires. On arrival, Laura was very friendly and helpful, she spent quite some time explaining all the sites to see and marking everywhere on a map. Breakfast was very good and our room was very clean and comfortable and spacious. All the staff we met were very friendly and spoke English which was great for us due to our lack of Spanish. Great location, within walking distance of restaurant and sights.
We stayed in this very nice Boutique hotel. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Rooms were nice, beds comfy & all areas nice & clean. Breakfast was a little limited but the staff were willing to cook eggs fresh on request.
It used to be under the Howard Johnson banner (which most probably did not help) and it struck on its own not too long ago and seemed to prosper with a sense of independence and pride in their services: General Manager Adriano and his assistant Maximilian were super friendly, eager to help with lots of tips where to go, what to get in the neighbourhood grocery chain store, where to get local currency...we were particularly grateful for their uber-assistance in our dealing with the airlines for our mix-up in retrieving the wrong luggage at the airport carrousel. Great location to visit what you need to visit in this city called the "Paris of the Southern Hemisphere" (we can attest to that moniker having spent quite a number of years in Paris, France.) The hotel has clean, nice and big rooms; comfortable bedding and lots of pillows. Breakfast served in the morning is plentiful. We would come back if there was a chance. Many thanks, Adriano & Maximilian…
We stayed at the Blank Hotel Recoleta for two separate stays. Conveniently located in Recoleta - walking distance to several restaurants, mall, and cemetery. Both times - comfortable rooms, quiet, and roomy. The morning breakfast offers juice, fruit, meats, cheese, pastries, yogurt, etc. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, spoke and understood English; which is important to folks who speak little to no Spanish. Recommendations for restaurants were spot-on.
We stayed here at the end of a two week vacation to Argentina. It was centrally located, clean, and very safe. We had a great stay here and loved the room!! It was easy to find and the front staff were very helpful.
We only had 2 nights in Buenos Aires at the end of our trip, so wanted a hotel that was conveniently located. Recoleta is supposed to be one of the safer areas and popular with tourists, and the Blank Hotel looked to be well priced with decent reviews. It's on a relatively quiet road, without lots of traffic. It's right next to a coffee shop which was handy, we popped in on our way back from a trip out to grab a coffee and cake to take to the room. The room was pretty standard, decent size, comfortable bed, air con. There was a minibar but we didn't use it as it was quite expensive. There was also an on site hotel pool/spa so we went down one afternoon. Well it's a bit of an odd setup, you walk through the breakfast eating area, open a door, and there is the spa area. It's quite small but there was a little pool with gentle massage jets, and also a sauna. It was nice to relax in here for a little while after a full day out walking the city. Only comment is that there were no towels provided in the spa which would be the usual thing to expect, and there were no changing rooms. It was no more than 10 minutes' walk to Recoleta cemetery, and the restaurants near to there. Also 10 minutes walk to El Ateneo Grand Splendid book shop. I think it was about 30 minutes' walk to Teatro Colon, and 40 minutes to the main shopping street (Florida). Overall very happy with our choice.…
This is an ideal spot from which to explore BA. Staff was unfailing pleasant and helpful. Bed was super comfy, with silky-soft sheets and lots of pillows. Breakfast varied and generous. Be sure to book a meal at the superb Roux a few blocks away.
The Hotel it is not luxury, it used to be Howard Johnson Recoleta, but changed the name and came out of the hotel chain. Its location is very good, just few blocks from the shopping and Recoleta Cementery, also all the restaurants, everything walking distance, really nice. The room is big, which fits a family of 4 with two king beds in one room, sheet and rooms both very clean. The receptionist are very helpful with good attitude. The price is pretty good considering the location and the service provided. The hotel seems to have been renovated, so everything felt pretty new. The breakfast is simple and easy, but got everything, ham cheese, breads, croissant, cereal, yogurt, milk, coffee, pretty simple. The only complaint I might have is the attitude of the breakfast people, they were not very smiley and frankly speaking, looked a little cranky in the morning. I would go back again for its convenience, friendly and location for sure.…
I ditto everyone who had great things to say about this hotel. Good location, comfortable rooms, clean, quiet, good breakfast and strong wifi. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.
