Didn't realise the hotel was on a main(noisy) street in a semi-shady area as I was caught up in the romance of staying in San Telmo. Ask for a back room if you'd like some sleep. Rooms are basic but clean. Pros: •Staff are lovely though! Very attentive & helpful. •Subte(metro) is nearby, 100m away.

2 Downfalls ... Internet is very Slow and you always have to call the Reception when you want fresh air over the AC in a Room without Windows to the Outside. The buttons in the Room for the AC are inactive and overwritten by Reception.

we stayed for 1 night. One room for 4 and one for 3. Beds were comfortable and the rooms big. Bathroom was very clean and staff friendly. We parked our car for free and was safe for the night. Breakfast was nothing special but included in the price. Not at all expensive and perfect to visit the city.

The rooms are small dorm like rooms. The front desk controls the switch to the aircon. They turn it OFF most of the time. I finally got so hot I walked down and told the front desk man and with one click he turned it on. This was so frustrating.

Clean and tidy. The hotel is right in the center of the city so everything was just minutes away from us. The staff is kind and the room was big and confortable. We were in our car so the free parking place was great. Breakfast was good.

The glory days of this Hotel are clearly over. The staff doesn't speak a lick of English and the service wasn't too great either. We had to complain 2 times because the water in our shower wasn't running. After they switched it on the water wouldn't stop running. We had to turn it on and off via the receptionist every night. Same goes for the air con. They turn it off during the day and the only way to get it back on is via the receptionist. One night they conveniently forgot to switch it on, despite us asking 2 times. The cherry on top of all that was the cockroach we had in our shower. Only plus sides are a rather good breakfast selection and the location. Overall a below average stay for an above average price.

I stayed 2 nights, the hotel is clean but very expensive, the staff don't speak English and not very friendly, I feel like not welcoming. Poor WiFi in my room, you have to go near to the reception to get a good signal. The breakfast is bad, just lots of the sweet pastries.

Saludos cordiales, Christian Larosa.

A cheap alternative in the heart of the city, the Hotel Internacional does itself no favours on first impressions!!! Although the hotel is on the main drag it is reasonably quiet and at approx £44 per night (B&B) for a single traveller it represents good value. The rooms are basic but very clean and the shower is good. There are most of the things you need for short stays, although there are no coffee/tea making facilities. The breakfast is ok - no hot food, just lots of the sweet pastries, toast and cereals etc that most european countries do, but as much as you can eat. The reception staff were FANTASTIC - such friendly and helpful people, as were all the other staff. The lounge area is small but ok for sitting, reading or watching the TV if you have nowhere else to go!!!!! The free Wi-Fi in the dining area is available 24/7 and useful for keeping up to date with your emails or anything else. My companion and I were so impressed with the whole thing that we stayed there each time we returned to Buenos Aires during our 3 week stay in Argentina.

Very conveniently located close to the main avenues and the subte and round the corner from san telmo. Very helpful service at all times from the staff. Rooms were fine for the price, if a little smoky. Breakfast is standard south american style. Wifi is available but its pretty much hit and miss in the rooms, though the connection is very good in the breakfast place upstairs. Like the fact that wifi is free here in hotels in argentina unlike in most other countries around the world..!

Decent hotel with typical donut and cereal breakfast spread in the morning. Near the action in San Telmo. A great neighborhood. Close to Centro as well.
