This is a simple B&B which is centrally located in a real Buenos Aires neighborhood. If you like to hang out where there are busloads of tourists, El Jardin del Tango may not be for you but I loved it because I was able to experience this vibrant city as if I was a (new !!) local. At the end...

This was our first visit to Buenos Aires. We stayed at Casa Jasmin, an apartment in a centrally located neighborhood. We enjoyed the quirkiness of the old building. The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, mate, bread, eggs, cereal, and fresh fruit. Rachel was incredibly informative before we arrived and provided many great suggestions for...

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank your for your kind review. I hope your cruise was all you hoped for as well. I was very impressed with your cool-headed phonecall when you couldn't find the theatre (hidden in an arcade) - it can be hard to get help with directions here as so few people speak English....

What an outstanding place to stay for the more seasoned traveler. Rachel was an incredible hostess, spending a great deal of time ensuring we experience and enjoy her city! El Jardin is an apartment; nothing fancy but very clean and centrally located. The kitchen was fully stocked and we so appreciated the bedroom air-conditioning. El Jardin does not have signage...

I recently stayed at Casa Jasmin for 8 nights. It was very comfortable, clean, and private. It's in a commercial small-business part of town that is quiet (and safe) at night, and is perfectly located just a short walk from 2 different subway lines, which are easy to use and get you just about anywhere you want to go within...

The apartment was very spacious and clean! The availability of guide books, maps and other materials on Buenos Aires/Argentina was very useful. Rachel was also a wealth of knowledge which served us well.

We felt ourselves fortunate to have made the decision to stay at Jardin del Tango. The location, appointments in and comfort of the apartment, as well as the warmth and knowledge of the hostess were outstanding. Rachel Stephenson, the hostess and owner was exceptionally generous with her time and care of guests. We definitely intend to choose Jardin del Tango...

I can't say enough about how great this place is. Rachel, the owner, helped us ahead of time get from the cruise ship to the apartment and arranged for a car to drive us to the airport at 8:45 PM as our plane left at midnight. She let us stay in the apartment until it was time to go to...

Thanks for your very extensive review of your stay at Casa Jasmin. So glad you enjoyed your stay and your brief visit to Buenos Aires. This is such a big city it can be very confusing to short term visitors, so I do offer as much support and advice as people seem to want or need. But I also try...

Rachel is a very capable, helpful and meticulous host. Her house is extremely clean and neat. My mum who's a neat freak will give her a perfect score too! You will also get a lot of kind advice about the city. I am afraid of cats and was initially hesitant but her two cats are harmless and pretty. I am...

So glad your enjoyed your one night stay at Casa Rosa. Although you told me many of your needs in the emails we exchanged before your visit (such as needing a Sunday laundry and to exchange currency on a day the cambios are closed, both of which I arranged) you didn't mention your fear of cats. Which was a shame...

The first thing that strikes you as you enter this apartment is that it is a real home not just some room in a bland hotel. Rachel, the owner, makes you feel comfortable right from the start offering time saving advise and tips and just being a really nice person to spend time with. The apartment is spacious, light and...

Thanks for your kind review. So glad you enjoyed yourselves (and that guitar just loves to be played!). Yes, one of the great things about this area is that it is so central and well served by public transport (and easy to get taxis) that it is perfect for tourists who want to get out and see all the great...

We visited Buenos Aires as a family and wanted somewhere that was full of character to stay - not just a bland hotel which could have been anywhere in the world and we found it at Casa Jasmine.
