Couldn’t recommend this Buenos Aires hotel more! The staff were so lovely and helpful and the location was very safe! The room was comfortable and clean with nice toiletries. It was a quiet and relaxing hotel and the breakfast was so delicious, including the best crescent rolls ever! We had a couple early mornings and the hotel provided us with to go orange juices and rolls and other snacks. It is perfectly located in Palermo neighbourhood which was my favourite barrio in BA!
This stunning family run boutique hotel was the highlight of our team’s trip to Buenos Aires. With an incredible location and impeccable rooms, you will feel like a Porteno. There wasn’t a single staff member who didn’t greet each of our team members by name at every given opportunity. Carolina and Patricia were incredibly easy to communicate with and they seem to magically know what we needed before we even had to ask. We hope to have the opportunity to return here again in the future.
Only few blocks and an easy walk to all sites in Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood, yet on a quiet street. Front desk staff Patricia and Diego provided excellent advice and concierge service. Highly recommend
I stayed for a few nights at the Glu hotel. The experience was very pleasant. The hotel is centrally located in Palermo with many restaurants and bars right around the corner. Diego of the front desk is a funny gentleman who is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are huge and every morning you get breakfast delivered in the room. For ladies: the hotel room has a powerful rain shower, so washing your hair is easily possible here too. The rooms are also very decently priced, considering what you get.
My stay at Glu Hotel for 2 nights was fantastic, and continued to exceed my expectations. I read their great reviews ahead of time, and was still surprised by how helpful and attentive they were. On the hospitality, they continually not only answered my questions but proactively looked up things (for example, PCR test location & arranging a Boca Juniors game). It's a great location in perhaps the best neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Highly recommend and I hope to stay there again on my next visit.
.The Glu Hotel is a small, elegant boutique hotel, located on the quieter side of trendy Palermo Soho. Although it had been highly recommended to us for our vacation in Buenos Aires, it did surpass all our expectations. Throughout our stay, we were impressed by the stylish atmosphere of the place and the exceptionally attentive, personalized service we received. We stayed in a tastefully appointed and very comfortable suite with a large sleeping area and bathroom, and an equally large “living room.” We loved having our own well-equipped mini-kitchen and eating area for in-room breakfast service or for last-minute meals at the end of a busy day around town. In addition, our room opened to a large terrace overlooking the treetops and the surrounding streets of beautiful Palermo. The hotel has its own breakfast café with excellent food and attentive service. There are plenty of first-class restaurants and cafés all around the neighborhood. To add to our convenience, the hotel offered easy access to the many attractions of beautiful Buenos Aires. In summary, a gem.…
I loved staying in the Soho-Palmero barrio. Great restaurants, lots of people walking their dogs, really cool street art and fun bars. A must is The Argentine Experience and Palermo Food Tour...I had such a good time. I stayed at The Glu Hotel at the beginning of my trip. The staff were so helpful, the breakfast was so tasty and the rooms were clean. I walked down to the polo fields and watch polo which is free on Sundays. My favorite barrio La Boca, such a colorful and vibrant barrio. People watch while enjoying a cold drink and listening to music then stroll the streets. There street vendors have some really cool stuff...talented artists. However don't wander too far off the tourists path in La Boca if you're by yourself, the outskirts of the barrio can be a bit rough. And if you like seafood, I found a darling little place...La Pescadoita. I had great service and the food was so good, but I recommend going with a friend...I had the grilled seafood platter and it was way too much food for one person. If you have a sim card then download Cabify (ie Uber/Lyft), it makes getting around the city at a responsible price.…
Due to the flight suspensions out of Argentina, we booked the Glu last minute. The rooms were as described: we had 35sqm which is loads for 2 large cases, extra large bed, sofa and a food & drink counter. Plus a small balcony. Small but well designed, modern bathroom. It’s the service that does it. We were liked after by 3 different reception staff in our 24 hours. The welcome was lovely - pots of tea and croissants- but the support on what to do, where, travel times was superb. And the handovers seamless so each new member of staff knew who we were and what we wanted. We left feeling very mellow and cared for.
We were there for our son's wedding, and this was one of the wedding hotels. The front desk staff--Caroline, Victoria, Lucas and Diego were on duty while we were there--were exceptional. They knew our names within a day, found restaurants and made reservations, ran after us to make sure we didn't need a cab, and all in all made it a special and personal experience. The room was large and comfortable and had a charming balcony overlooking the courtyard. We had breakfast in our room most mornings, and service was very quick and friendly. Palermo Soho is a lovely, walkable neighborhood, with lots of restaurants, clubs, shops and boutiques. If we go back, this is where we'll stay.
I planned a year out our anniversary trip and we landed in Palermo Soho at the Glu Hotel for 2 nights in their suite. It was the best place for us to experience BA. we walked around the hood and ate wonderful food. We took an Uber to historical downtown and recoleta cemetery. All was very easy. Hotel staff was great and breakfast on terrace in the morning was special.
