Travellers' Choice
Caravan BA is a brand new Boutique Hostel. Dreamt, planned and run by a family with wanderlust spirit. Located in the heart of Palermo Soho combining the nicer things of a HOTEL (modern, cool, clean facilities & safety) + a family atmosphere of a "PORTEÑA HOME" (few rooms, parrilla, mate, soccer) + HOSTEL magic (special events, garden-bar, swimming pool, big shared kitchen, meeting place, etc).

There are so many elements that make caravan the best hostel I’ve stayed in (the breakfast, the pool, activities, location, beds etc). Caravan made my trip in South America, not only does it tick all the facilities boxes you need from a hostel, there is something unique about this place and the staff that it feels like you’re part of their home. The staff are amazing, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, part of their family, help you with your trip, etc. It was something I hadn’t experienced from any other hostel when travelling and made such a positive impact on my whole trip. It’s a one of a kind, a very special place!!!

What an amazing hostel! I absolutely loved it from A to Z. Where to begin? The owners and the staff are super nice and always around for a chat or mixing drinks and hanging out with the guests. All of them speak great English too. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms and every corner in the hostel is very clean! A few people complained, because you have put the sheets on your bed upon arrival. Seriously, this doesn't take longer than 2mins...and I had the upper bunk bed. It's a great location in Palermo with shops, restaurants and bars around, but quiet to get a nice rest. The lockers are prepared with a lock, I felt over all very safe, even when I left my phone in the living room or garden for a while. The other guests were lovely, funny and easy to get in touch with. From my first day on I had a great time, hanging out in the common areas :) they were also well prepared with books, games and ideas for rainy days. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will definitely come back! <3 Honestly...you will do yourself a great favour booking this hostel and I swear you won't regret it! :)

Caravan BA was by far the greatest hostel I stayed at while traveling for 4 months around Europe & Argentina. I felt as though I was staying at a friend’s place while at Caravan. From the vibrant art to the all the River Plate memorabilia (sorry Boca fans), Caravan had it all. Dani & Guido, the dynamic sister and brother duo, who run Caravan are incredible. Both are travelers who understand what’s needed to make the perfect hostel. (And shoutout to their mom who created the beautifullll kitchen island top). Along with those wonderful people, I also was lucky to interact with Jazmín & Luke who bring an amazing energy to Caravan as well. Any want/ need Caravan has it. - You have no idea where to go because BA is huge and has so much to offer? Ask anyyy of the staff for their favorite spots of the beautiful city. - You’ve returned from exploring around and need food options that range from asado (Caravan hosts their own asado night, which I highlyyyyy recommend) to vegan pizza (which Dani ((a vegan queen)) recommended)? Again, ask any of the staff. - You need to unwind and meditate after your many adventures in BA? Ask the Caravan yogi, Dani. - You want to get the best captions for IG after you’ve traveled around BA and had time to relax? Ask the Caravan IG expert, Guido. - You needs tips as an aspiring musician? Ask the lead singer of Jazy, Jazmín. - You’ve met the “love of your life” and want to find out if you’re compatible? Ask the astrology guru, Luke. TL:DR If you’re looking for a place to stay that feels like home instead of a hostel, stay Caravan BA. They give great recommendations and will be very helpful during your time in BA.

Wonderful hostel in Palermo Soho. From teh moment you walk in you feel at home. Dani and her brother Guido ensure that you have a great stay at Caravan BA. The hostel is colourful, spacious and has a lovely garden area with a pool. In the evenings, guests hang out around the bar outside to exchange stories. There are daily activities and the staff have plenty of suggestions on what to do in BA. It's a fantastic place for solo travellers and it's so easy to meet other travellers.. When I was there most guests were in their 30's which I really liked. If I ever go back, I will definitely stay here again. Don't hesitate any lnger, just book!

I spend 5 nights at the Caranvan and I would have stayed longer if they were not full. You never feel like just another guest as the owners makes you feel like you are staying with family. It’s probably the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed at! You start your day with a family styled breakfast with other guests and staff sitting at a long high table. The hostel is small and it opens up for the possibility to get personal and create a laid back familiar atmosphere. Hot afternoons a spend in the garden and early evenings on the patio where you will easily find fellow travellers to have dinner with. A great social space for solo travellers. Location is in the middle of Palermo Soho and you feel very safe in the area. Definitely coming back at the end of my travels.
