I vacationed in Buenos Aires for two weeks and unwittingly stayed at some of the dingiest hostels in the area before luckily chancing upon Zentrum. It's leaps & bounds above all the other hostels I stayed at in BA, really more of a hotel than hostel. For a few days I had a private room with a balcony (next to...

Zentrum is a nice option for travellers. Only 2 dorms, 4 beds and most of the days my room was empty. The shared bathrooms and the hole place is clean and the staff is very helpful. Alejandro, Gimena and Johnatan. They are young and I've shared long night talks with them. The breakfast is regular and they have a beatiful...

Alejandro and the rest of the daily staff at the hostel were absolutely fantastic. Any request we had, they tried their best to handle it. Breakfast was sparse - bread with jellies/cheese/lunch meat and a juice that tasted like Tang. Oh well - luckily I'm not a big breakfast person... My biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the bed/bathroom of...

In the middle of Palermo Soho, Zentrum Hostel Boutique, is a perfect place to relax from the bustiling town. The rooms are stylish and the beds are comfy. The excellent breakfast can be enjoyed on the sunny rooftop. The staff gives good advices for your stay and is super helpful!

We have booked this place because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor. Don´t let the nice pictures on the website fool you. Unfortunately, we didn´t think the price we paid is worth what you´re getting. A noisy room (facing the street) and thin walls, though the location of the hostel was very central. The reception desk was right next to...

nice hostel at a great location in Palermo. The roof terrace is great, the surrounding area is great for shopping and dining. The rooms are nice decorated, but be aware, some have shared bathroom facilities. The host is very nice and attending. Good value for money.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
