Stopped in for a raki. Every other restaurant brings water with the raki for free, and this seemed like no exception (especially since the raki was 6lr more than most other places, at 18lr for a glass). Except, when we got our bill, the water charged us 9lr for the privilege of having water with our raki. When we pointed... More

We actually traveled in May last year. Loved the location and the people in the town. The ocean view from the terrace was spectacular. Rooms are basic, comfortable and clean. Our breakfast was delicious with fresh home made bread. The restaurant down below served grilled fish, salads and Mezzes. The seating was right on the water with friendly service. May... More

The town has a population of 45, and is historically protected, so don't expect a high end resort here. This hotel has decent basic rooms right on the water. The food is good, and the staff is friendly, though we did not ask much of them on our trip. The location is right next to the oldest and smallest castle... More

Amazing family owned pensiyon. Big shout out to one of the guys that works there that saved my 6 year old son from getting blown down the coast line in the kayak when I wasn't watching :) The owner's son runs the place and he speaks very good english. Food is great and the place oozes character. Very boutiquey. Rooms... More

If you are looking for a quiet, calm, traditional, semi-rural,quaint Turkish hamlet then you cannot get better than this place. A beautiful spot only accessible by boat. The only negative aspect of a stay in Kale is the afternoon people traffic generated from the vast number of boat trips visiting daily. Although more than I budgeted for, watch out for... More

Not really sure why they have got bad reviews. We stayed there for 4 nights and we really enoyed it. The people working there were really great and were very friendly and helpful. They even organised us a private boat trip to the blue cave and sunken city. The rooms are simple but clean and pretty with great views over... More

The location is amazing and you pay for it ... Rooms are basics (on the average of the budget hotels) : for instance no curtains to the windows so that others clients can see in our rooms but price are high (80€ per night). Owners seat on their golden rock and are not willing to pay effort for clients :... More

Amasra is a hard place to find a cheap hotel. This hotel was located on the top of the cliff overlooking the harbour. The room we were in effectivley had a private terrace. Room was ensuite but no TV. There was aTV lounge next door however so no problem. Its more of a guest house with a few rooms than... More

We booked by email, they collected us from the airport in the early housr and looked after us for a fortnight - in simple comfortable aircon accommodation. They lent us a small boat for exploring, rescued us when the boat stopped and we could not have had a more relaxing break. The owner's wife is a wheelchair user , so... More
