We stayed here on the Camino on the basis of its location in Tomar. We were offered breakfast as an option and hesitated because breakfast on previous Camino routes were not always very good. We were really happy that we took the breakfast option because it had an excellent array of choices that included freshly squeezed orange juice. The room...

My husband and I had booked our night in Tomar with a different Hotel but were informed by e-mail the week before that the hotel we had booked was under renovation and they had changed our reservation for another one of their hotels - the Cavaleiros de Christo. We parked on the street in front of the hotel and were...

We stayed at this hotel during an overnight in Tomar. Although it's a bit dated, it's clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, albeit hard beds. It's located right across the street from the park which is absolutely lovely. Close to everything. For the price, you really can't get something better. Recommended for budget travelers...

The room was small but clean and sufficient, comfortable bed, clean and compact shower and a handy fridge although we did miss having a kettle and tea or coffee making. The breakfast was good although only coffee available. Buffet style breakfast with lovely fresh fruit and nice start to the day. There is no on street parking but if you...

Stayed for one night in November 2015. PROS: good value breakfast, free WiFi, friendly staff CONS: tired and dated, hard smallish beds, noisy, thin walls between the rooms The dated concrete construction seems to amplify the sounds in the building. I found it difficult to sleep. Enjoyed the €5 breakfast, but not enough to return.

Cavaleiros de Cristo is not, as one might fear, a nest of evangelical christians, but rather a clean and friendly small hotel in the lovely old town of Tomar. Rooms are small but comfortable, all en-suite, and a standard breakfast is served up on the top floor. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is on a narrow...

Stayed for 1 night in June 2014. Location: Central. Surrounded by eateries and shops. Easy walk from bus station. Short walk to the main sights. Room: Clean. The bed was not very comfortable but fine for one night. The bathroom was quite compact with older fixtures. Old TV with only a handful of channels. Amenities: A/C worked well. The wifi...

The hotel is average. the design is very old fashion. the rooms are okay. The hotel has a good location near the lake and garden and near the restos and shops. The staff is nice and smiley. We did not have breakfast their so i cannot judge the food.

Spent one night in this hotel and found the front desk people extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast not bad. We needed to catch a morning bus and they were willing to serve it at 5:30am only for us so we are still grateful. The building was pretty old and the rooms were small. Good location - walking distance to everywhere...

The hotel is located right next to the river with free parking; very nice and helpful lady in the reception; 45€ for one double room per night; internet is good, but the room is small, and no ventilation in the toilet!
