I spent 6 nights here and it was the best hotel of the 4 i stayed in this trip. I had a bungalow at the back facing the garden and the ocean. It was so peaceful i spent hours just sitting on the patio. Apart from the sound of the ocean the gentle breeze was just perfect, All the staff here were such lovely people, friendly , helpful and go out of their way to make my stay perfect. It is opposite a mini mart and surrounded by restaurants and spas. I will definately be back.
I love it here and I keep returning for a month each year - million dollar ocean views for moderate cost; nice, spacious rooms all with views, only 7 rooms so it's quiet. It's family run, so is personal and friendly, they are always happy to assist. Restaurants and shops close by, also a great art shop offering a discount for guests. Excellent massage available. If you need to refresh and relax in peace, this is the place.
It was a liitle hard to find as its on the main road and only has a small sign to identify it - once in we did the obligatory paper work all hand written as it appears to be fairly laid back place - shown to our villa on the beach near the pool - wow - nice and clean somewhat old world Bali - comfy bed - good AC - little restaurant for brekky - great pool and right on the ocean - no beach as such but an ocean wall with views across bay to Nusa Lembongan - very friendly staff and very peaceful and quiet - surrounded by cafes / warungs, money changers and bottle shop - nice peacful break and nice staff - breeky basic but fine - and priced accordingly - will be back.
We stayed 3 nights and hired a scooter to explore the area. The staff were lovely and the room was great. There are many restaurants within walking distance from the resort and if you feel lazy, the food is also great at the resort.
Beautifully located right on the ocean front and on the Main Street where all the restaurants and bars were. Very cosy accommodation and relaxing environment. Staff were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I recommend this accommodation in lovely Candidasa to you.
The Segara Wangi Beach Bungalows hotel in Candidasa is a great place to spend a few days, or why not more? The bungalows are clean and well equiped, with AC, Wifi, refrigerators, safes and more. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with any wishes. The view from the pool side out over the ocean is fantastic, with Nusa Penida in sight, and on a clear day, even Lombok. The hotel is well situated, with lots of good restaurants and bars around (for Candidasa, at least). It is also quite easy to find, as it is situated right on the main road.
We booked off the net and first impressions on taking us to our room right on the waters edge were +++++. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with air con, local tv, fridge and a lovely garden bathroom. (Water pressure good) Any requests made were met with immediate results. A hot enjoyable breakfast was included. Finally staff and the owner Made we just simply want to say thank you for a great 2 day stay. Oh I forgot to mention honest home cooking from Nyoman out front who does other extremely affordable good quality lunch and dinner meals if needed a big thank you as well. Candidasa needs your support after the Gunung Agung event so please come and support the area. You will not be disappointed. Perfect for a weekend stay or close enough for just overnight. We will be back. Pak Peter and Ibu Chrissie and Sami.…
We found this hotel a couple of years ago and it is just great to stay at. Located almost in the middle of Candi Dasa and close to all restaurants. The hotel have a great staff and manager who look after the guest very well. If you stay here you will stay again.
It is seldom that I write such a scathing review (check my previous ones). We booked this hotel on booking.com based on the reviews and location. On check-in they took my debitcard and tried to extract the money 3 times before giving up, obviously some problem with their machine, but my creditcard worked fine. They deducted IDR.1,400,000/- for the 2 nights did not offer a welcome drink like the advert and a boy took us to our room. As we walked through the grounds we thought yes it looked just like the photos so far so good. But as we walked past the rooms that we saw the photos on booking.com we ended up round the corner is some very small room which did not have the facilities advertised. The room was also across from the workman's workshop with broken down air-cons and the room next door was being renovated. I was rather confused and went back to the reception to ask what was going on! The staff apologised and told me sorry the room you was booked into was taken by the owners friend. You cannot have your money back but we will refund some of your money" offering me a discount of IDR.150,000/- per night. My answer was for that room not at any price. I was upset and asked them why they took my money for a superior room knowing they were giving me an economy room and there was no reply. Now the owner was at the hotel sat with her friends and just had the poor boy go backwards and forwards between her and us. I told the staff I would not budge and I got all my money back and would not stay in the room offered. Finally she took the money from her wallet and gave it to her staff to give to me. I must say the young staff were very sorry and apologised for their boss. She then had the cheek to ask me to contact booking.com and cancel as a no-show, amazing!!!!!…
Located just at the waterfront, with the smell and sound of the ocean making you feel so happy. Staff very helpful and serviceminded. Also did a cooking class with Nyoman , in the warung in front of the property. We had bungalow nr 107 and 101, with views towards the sea and garden, just great. Nice pool also.
