Jepun Didulu is the best places to stay in East Bali. Nestled on a sloping foliage overlooking the Indian Ocean, Jepun Didulu is an ideal hideaway in a tranquil Eastern Bali's remote village of Prasi , Karangasem. Adopting the true Balinese spirit in the landscape, architectural design and building philosophy, each of the three individual cottages features true local ingredients, including alang-alang grass roof, wooden floor, and all bamboo material for the whole building, including furniture, wall, and various other amenities. These rich tropical elements create an ambient of its own, a typically Balinese magic attracting travelers worldwide. A stay at Jepun Didulu offers a true Balinese experience as if you ever stay at a typically Balinese housing compound. Facility includes a vast room, hot water, individual kitchen, TV and veranda, each set in traditional Balinese style. Cooking class is available on request. The resort is only 1.2 Kms, or 30 minute walk, from the emerge Beach, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beach of the Eastern Bali. Free transport to the beach is provided. The beach is isolated from the nearby stretch of coastline by its natural hills at both sides, making it an ideal escapade, only known among specific travelers. Jepun Didulu is located right in the middle of the Eastern Bali's famous tourism attractions, including Candidasa (15 minutes), Taman Ujung Water Palace (20 minutes), Tirta Gangga water park (30 minutes), Tulamben and Amed diving paradise (1 hour), and the island's highest peak of Mt Agung (1 hour). Last but not least, you may embark on a trekking excursion around the village, learning the farming tradition around the village. Take your holiday to another level by exploring the true Balinese experience, away from the hustle and bustle of the average beach destination of Bali.

We stayed at Jepun Didulu Cottages for 5 nights and had a great time. The staff was exceptionally nice, helpful and made every effort to make our stay truly memorable! We wanted to find a laid back place a little bit off the super busy parts of Bali and it’s exactly what we found. The cottages (standard) are situated in a beautiful garden, are really spacious, have beautiful wooden floors and essentially everything you need. You will definitely hear the sounds of the nature at night and sometimes a scooter from the street, but it didn’t bother us! The nearby beach - beautiful virgin beach- can be reached in 5 mins by scooter as well as many restaurants. Thank you Manku and everyone else at Jepun Didulu for the great time! We hope we can be back one day!

Perfect location to join the famous Virgin beach. Even good starting point to join the famous temples and attractions of the area. The standard room is very cozy with a very comfortable bed. Lovely veranda with view. Delicious breakfast, based on from the own garden fruits. Mangku, the owner, is the most wellcoming, nice and available person met in our travel.

A very beautiful place to visit in Bali. The hosts were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was really delicious and they made sure it was ready when we got there. They also dropped us off at the beach and when we took a while and couldn’t reach us on the phone they came out to make sure we were ok. They also made us beautiful bracelets when we left. Also Gusti Mangku made sure the rest of our holiday went to plan driving us to all our next destinations. He took us to some amazing tours over the rest of Bali, coffee plantations and batik clothing shops etc. He helped us find a jumper my girlfriend left at another hotel and sent it to his home address. Overall they went above and beyond to tailor our holiday and make us feel comfortable.

There are 3 spasious well maintained comfortable bungalows in beautiful countryside . Small but nice garden with flowers . Small swimming pool . Good opportunity for walking nearby : rice terraces , Pasi Putih beach . And very friendly hosts . We were greeted with wreaths of flowers and refreshments . We were the only guests here for 2 nights . Absolute tranquility . Great time .

There were some renovations being done while we were staying, and the manager and staff went out of their way to make sure we were not discomfited. The quality of travel experience in Bali is changed for the better once you stay away from the busy tourist mayhem areas. People are genuine and friendly, whereas in the middle of the tourist hotspots one feels like just another bloody Western tourist. Close to Jepun Didulu was a flower farm where locals were picking flowers for sale in a market for offerings. The flower pickers were lovely, friendly people. Jepun Didulu arranged a driver for us to visit nearby beaches and restaurants in Candidasa when we wanted. We had our 5 year-old grand-daughter with us. The cottages were a good place for her to safely experience the real Bali.

We stayed 4 nights with family aged 5-69 using 3 cottages. Everyone relaxed and enjoyed their stay immensely. We felt spoiled the moment we arrived with kindness, good communication and many extra treats. Virgin Beach is well worth a day’s visit, especially at low tide. High tide was hilarious however, with us lying under brollies on lounges with waves around us. Very easy place to relax and enjoy a beer, some delicious seafood with freshly made Bali sauces. A day trip with our knowledgeable driver Made was interesting and we managed to buy some good quality craft and chocolates. Every evening we walked over the road to see the flower farm and meet the friendly flower pickers....very photogenic. The breakfast and optional meals are simple, fresh and delicious.....served with movie star smiles. This is NOT a 5 star pamper hotel, this is a family friendly, family run, small, charming place where you are a safe distance from tourist crowds.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We rented 2 bungelows, one for us, and another for our kids. The bungelows are well kept, clean and tidy, the grounds are lovely and there's a nice pool to cook off in. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

We arrived around 8pm on a Friday night. Exhausted after the long drive from Denpasar, Mangku and the lovely staff at Jepun Didulu welcomed us with open arms. From the minute we got their, we were treated to a 5 star experience. The free breakfast was delicious, complete with a meal of your choice, fruit, coffee and juice. Of course, the service was top notch as always. Jepun is nestled in the hills of the Karangasem region but just a few short minutes to the beautiful beaches of Candidasa. Virgin Beach (easily one of the cleanest beaches in Bali) is right down the street from Jepun. I can't speak for the bungalow units as we stayed in the "deluxe" unit but from the outside, they all looked very nice. The property itself was immaculately cared for. The pool was clean and the scenery was simply majestic. At the end of our dream-like stay, the Jepun staff gave us a little farewell gift and we were on our way. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll certainly stay at Jepun. You should too.
