It’s one of the best places in the area. Discovery Candidasa can assure you relaxing time in a nice and peaceful area. Everybody are friendly, welcoming and peaceful. The rooms are good, they are not in a new villas, but it’s clean and everything needed is provided. We came not in a peak season with less tourists (mainly Russians). The breakfast is being made by your preferences ( boiled eggs in the minutes you prefer them, the type of bread or pancakes with pineapple or banana). The massages are really good, I’ve tried the face massage and I really liked it. There is a kitchen in the villa and the tourists can cook and overall stay the whole time in the hotel. Furthermore, the taxi driver was really friendly and we enjoyed our trip to the next stop. Last but not least, the sunset there is magnificent and I strongly suggest everyone to enjoy it on maximum. We spent 3 nights in the hotel, which has a wonderful garden and from the pool you can enjoy the view at the ocean as well as the sunsets. The bathroom and the bedroom were really big however the bed was not that comfy. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast the first 2 days and third time we could choose from the menu and it was good but nothing special. We stayed in this hotel for two nights during a tour around the island. The hotel is conveniently located slightly away from the main road, which ensures it being a quiet place. Let’s start with the positives. The people working in the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. They really made an effort to help us enjoying the time. Also the garden is very nicely build with beautiful Frangipani Trees everywhere. The area at the sea has been greatly done despite it not having a real beach. Lastly, also the wireless was working properly and the rooms are all clean. Unfortunately, there are also things to improve especially when comparing this hotel to other similar boutique style locations in Bali in a similar quality. First of all, the rooms are big and the bathroom even bigger, so in principle positive, but unfortunately there is no beautiful decoration, everything is „just“ functional ... and the furniture used does not seem to be of high quality. Also the daybeds at the beach looked extremely used, which somehow negatively impacted our stay there. We believe the hotel experience could be easily lifted/improved to a much better level by just looking more more after the details.…

We had a 2 bedroom villa and it was beautiful. The bedrooms were upstairs and the kitchen and pool were down stairs. Each bedroom had it's own large ensuite. The resort is right on the waterfront and the view was amazing. Such a nice change from Kuta and Ubud. The local village was also very peaceful and the only people who harrassed you were taxi people and people selling sunglasses. We walked everywhere, and the shops all had prices on the items, so bartering was not needed. It was also a lot cheaper than Kuta and Ubud. It was great to get in the ocean, then have a few beers at the bar while listening to and watching the surf. Breakfast was included and the 1st morning it was a buffet and the next 2 mornings it was A La Cart. The buffet was good, but there was no variety on the A La Cart. It was good though. I would recomend this property to everyone.…

We stayed at Discovery Candidasa for four nights. Clean, spacious cottage, lovely surrounds (very green). Friendly staff. Quieter for being off the main road. Good value for money. Happy to recommend.

I stayed here for 5 nights in Sept as Candidasa was the recommended location from my dive shop for easier daily commute. Hotel staff is nice, location is good consider there's not much in Candidasa but the Lotus Garden, biggest convenient store and some of the more popular restaurants like Vincent's are all within 5 mins walk. Hotel itself is clean, lots of privacy but breakfast options are very limited. Room is clean, spacious but agree with another traveller that hotel can use some new beds / towers. Staff are all very helpful which is a big big plus for me during my stay. Would recommend anyone who would like to stay in Candidasa.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. As all guests do, we had our own little cottage with small living area, bedroom and ensuite. Our only recommendation to the hotel would be to invest in some new beds/mattresses, as ours was very loud/creaky and uncomfortable. That said, the little resort is idyllic. A small winding path leads you to the restaurant/spa/manmade beach area overlooking the water and Nusa Penida. It’s so serene and all guests seemed really respectful and also in need of a peaceful break. If you’re sitting overlooking the water you may be approached by local boat-owners asking if you want to go snorkelling. The food is good (quite continental) however the music playing any time other than breakfast drove us a bit crazy- traditional Balinese music would be much better than Jason Derulo/Harry Styles/Dua Lipa on repeat! The spa is great! I had a 1 hour Ayurvedic full body massage which was done by both of the ladies in the spa at the same time! Lying on a massage table being able to hear the waves was magical. I would, however, have been happier if one of the massage therapists hadn’t commented on my weight- thought that was unnecessary. Make sure to book ahead if you want a treatment done as they can’t always accommodate walk-ins. We wanted to go and see Ujung Water Palace & Tirta Gangga, and the hotel were very swift with booking us a driver for the day. All in all, a good stay. Expect stunning sunsets.…

Beautiful cottages to stay at. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4nights and it was delightful. The one thing I wish that was different if there were more options for breakfast besides eggs. Besides that it was a great experience and highly recommend staying there.

Discovery is definitely great value for money punching well above its weight. They deliver on service cleanliness and luxury The restaurant is great The spa is incredible I had a 4 handed Ayurvedic treatment for 1 hour on the first day which put me straight into relaxation mode Breakfast included is delicious sitting right on the ocean Thumbs up 👍

Although we experienced the quake while staying at this place, we felt very safe. In particular also because of the hotel personnel which kept us informed and cared about the anxiety which spread around. Really good work! The place itself is beautifully located and the interior of the bungalows is nicely decorated. Breakfast is ok but not perfect. More than just a decent place to stay! We enjoyed it a lot...
