wonderful stay. One of the few hotels here right on the beach (not a stone beach, but actual sand), and a great swimming pool. Near some important attractions (depending on what you like), important Balinese cultural attractions. ALSO about 5 minutes from one of the best restaurants on the island, Vincent's which is now re-opened. Highly recommend a double header to both establishments.

The hotel has amazing view and tranquility. Rooms are also great, and it's a real bang for the buck. The owner is very friendly and the service was great. Breakfast was great too. It's well located as well and you can get a relaxing experience for all family members.

We (3 of us) visited several other hotels in the area, including high (& low) profile places, then asked local friends for a reco. We wanted a place actually on a sandy beach (some r ocean front, no beach ). This place has, we were told, the longest sandy beach front of any of the hotels in this area. The place is simply great vslue for the money. The views from the 2nd & 3rd floor rooms r spectacular (no elevators!) v comfortable rooms, v clean, spacious, balconies w/ seating. There is a pair of adorable rabbits that bound about (for a short period in the mornings). It is not 5 star, but based on our experience w/ stays & visits at other hotels, it’s a choice that did not disappoint. AND, it’s walking distance to the premier resto in Candidasa, Vincent’s!

We (husband & wife) stayed 7 nights in a Sky Deluxe room on the second floor and felt like we had found our second home from the moment we arrived. A tranquil hideaway from the busy streets outside, a perfect view out to sea, a spacious and immaculately clean room, and staff that made you feel welcome in a really genuine way. We enjoyed our relaxed mornings over breakfast while we watched the fisherman come in, a delicious menu of varied options and excellent service. We even had lunch and dinner at the hotel (something we never usually do) as the service and food was so good, and at a really reasonable price. It was handy to have the offers from fishermen to take us out on excursions by boat, we went to both White Sand Beach and Blue Lagoon this way. We found these guys to be honest and reliable and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. The staff were able to arrange a scooter hire for us, all done with no hassle and we didn’t have to go and find somewhere to hire off the street. If you can ride, it’s a great way to get up and down the Candidasa strip in the heat instead of walking. We had laundry done at a good price, and everything came back perfectly. We enjoyed some quiet time around the pool, as well as a couple of very good cocktails. If you love peace and quiet, and a stunning view in a boutique setting you can’t go wrong with Hotel Genggong.…

Very quiet and peaceful! All of the staff take good care of you. We stayed here for one week and was very relaxing week. We did all of our day trips from the hotel by driver daily. When we came back we had the pool to ourselves and was a very nice treat to have a swim before bed. We loved the quiet here. Highly recommend!
