TheHotrl was in a smal lane 200m from main rosd of Candi Dasa. Its might due to pandrmic the horel was very quite, seem that we are the only couple, feel sorry for this situation. small and not many facilities, only msin pool, but many restaurant within walking distant. The toom facility was ģreat, and got seperated shiwer and bathtub. only few staff was seen working.
Very nice hotel, with absolutely kind staff, in a beautiful environment (tropical garden). The Candidasa village is also worth to revisit. Sure to come back. The beach is close, and worth to make snorkeling. We have also participated on a big game fishing with a very sympathetic captain, named Yoghi.
The room are spacious and clean, it feels nice in the afternoon, but a little bit standard at night. The air-con was noisy, my television was broken so the staff exchange it with TV from another room. For a family visit, quite good considering the prices. The pizza was really good! The wifi was OK. Overall it was quite enjoyable.
I am a hobbyist-photographer who travel often to Bali. Every year since 2016 I go to Tenganan village for their June festivals. This was the first time I stayed in a medium-priced hotel which was only 15 mins motorbike ride to Tenganan. The hotel is also about 10 minutes walking distance from the main road. The first thing that wowed me was the view of blooming bougainvilleas as I entered the reception area. If I heard right, the hotel has only 20 rooms, so it was a pretty quiet facility. My room, 111, overlooked the swimming pool. My room was quite large and the room amenities were ample. Although there was no phone in the room, I simply Whatsapped reception whenever I needed something. I happened to know the General Manager, who is an excellent hobbyist-photographer so we had a lot to talk about. I had two breakfasts, 2 dinners, and one lunch during my 2-night stay. The food (local and Western) was quite tasty. I had earlier arranged for a photoshoot with some local friends, as you can see from the photos. As most of the hotel guests were out when I was shooting, there were no photobombers in my scenes.…
Beautiful quiet family friendly. They upgraded us free. The staff were amazing. My son learnt to swim and take some of his first steps there. Great place for a run to. The food was great. Loved it. Some of the best days of my life were experienced here. Thank you.
Restaurant review only,Had walked past this restaurant a couple of times on way to others and after a poor meal at a close by restaurant decided to give it a try, glad we did as it was the best food and service we had in Candidasa,so good we went back on our last night. It is located off the main road down a narrow lane at the north end of Candidasa, the restaurant entrance is on a sharp bend and there is a blackboard sign at the side of the road, both times we went it was very quiet with only one other set of customers, the staff are very friendly and attentive but not pushy at all.I had the spicy beef randang curry and it was excellent having lots of tender pieces of beef in a spicy flavorful sauce,it was so good I had to have the same dish when we went back the second time and it did not disappoint. My wife had the Nasi goreng first time and a lovely moist and fresh chicken cordon bleu with chips on our second visit both times followed by a mango ice cream, the drinks were nice and cold also,it is not the cheapest restaurant in town but I would say mid range but so worth it and highly recommended.…
The hotel is situated on a 7 min walk from the main road and a 10 min walk from the beach. All if the fun, none of the mess in this beautifully maintained garden if flowers around a nice pool. The rooms are nice, ours had a nice little balcony. Breakfast is a bit if a turn-down with administration and looking into the crystal ball what you might want to eat. Then comes the judgement of the staff: if they feel you order to much (i asked 3 croissant) they just refuse to bring it. Is it my holiday or what?! The cocktails were disgustingly spiked soda with a whiff of alcohol. I brought back the cocktails. Despite the mention if cancellation on the bill, it was still urged to be paid. Unacceptable!! We asked the lobby to reserve us a table at Vincents, probably the best place to eat in Candidasa, which they omitted. Great place, poor service from their staff... pity!…
Little restaurant situated on the bend in the road at back of the Hotel. On the night we visited we were the only ones in. They had One staff trying to serve as well as assisting in the kitchen. In our discussions due to the downturn staff have had hours reduced due to less tourists coming as a result of the Volcano. Although he tried hard service was a bit ordinary. Our meals were Ok but it took time to be served. This restaurant has been better and I can understand the situation. Would give it another go when next in the area
Villarossa is a little bit of a walk from the main street in Candidassa but it's not too bad. There is a restaurant at the hotel with good food and reasonable prices if you don't fancy the walk though. The beach is a walk from the hotel also, but not necessarily a beach you sit on to relax. Our room itself was a nice size with a large bathroom. The shower head wasn't in the best position, facing straight into the room so you had to be careful not to soak everything when showering. On the whole we had a plesant stay. The outside noise was unfortunate but we didn't feel this was a common occurance. Our only other comment is to be careful if using the kettle as ours didn't switch off when boiled.
We had a lovely meal here this evening, great setting, great food, ice cold drinks. Crunchy fresh spring rolls, chicken Caesar salad and Mahi Mahi. All really good, the menu was extensive with varied selections of Indonesian and European dishes. The service was delightful. Would highly recommend.
