Nirwana beach and Resort candidasa is an amazing place to renew my positive energy, they had a lovely athmosfer, warm n cozy. A beach front resort with an infinity pool give you a wondrrfull experiance, when you swim, as long as you give ur sight, u can see blue emerald indian ocean. I love this place, soo I will be back 👍👍👍
Amazing view, surrounded by the ocean. Quiet, perfect for family trips or getaway trip. Staff were amazing and the service were top notch, room is clean, spacious, and well maintained. The pool were also amazing. Definitely will return in the future.
We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it a lot. The gardens are lovely, the views are amazing, and the staff are really helpful. We felt well taken care of. The rooms are well lit, spacious, and clean. The best part was listening to the waves as we went to sleep. We'd definitely visit again! Although it's on the cost, this is not a beach resort. So it helps if you get/rent a bike. Virgin beach is superb, and about 20 minutes away. with breathtaking views along the way.
We have stayed for two weeks. + When we arrived at the night we got very warm welcome check-in. Receptionist introduced us Balinese "ritual greeting". We got welcome drinks. After check-in we ordered in-room-dining, it was fast delivered. During our stay we liked that this place is very good for those people who wants just relax with yourself. Swimming pool is almost always empty and there are enough places for sunbathing. Staff every time is trying to implement your wishes and resolve your problems immediately. Service is amazing. They have pool towels free of charge for sunbathing - Bathroom needs a little bit repairing. There is no beach, but amazing view to the sea/ocean. Location is quite far from the all sightseeing and there is no road for walking. Breakfast is all the time by the A-la card menu and the choice for the European people is not so enough (such as: more cornflakes, more fruits, more cheeses and hams, bakery and etc.). Also it applies to the A-la card for lunch and dinner.…
We stayed here for our whole week visit in Bali. We loved it. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the pool and settings were out of this world. We stayed in a front room by the ocean and had the waves as our soundtrack which we loved. Nice breakfast too with nice guava juice and more. We had a nice, calm and serene time :)
Hotel was great, I was a bit sceptical booking as the hotel looked quite run down in a lot of photos online, rest assured it has recently been fully renovated including the hotel grounds, rooms and restaurant. Pool was great, staff were attentive and the meals in the restaurant were delicious. Rooms were spacious, clean and very well decorated. A beautiful resort to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas for a few days. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. My only criticism would be the spa the hotel recommended which was about 5 mins down the road, (cannot remember the name). Terrible service, aircon doesn’t work in treatment rooms and I caught the therapist on her phone several times during my 1 hour massage. Was also above the average price for a private Balinese spa, which the treatment didn’t match. Would not recommend at all, and would suggest the resort stop sending there guests there.…
We arrived at Nirwana having made and had confirmed a reservation for the Ocean Front Villas directly with the hotel website. This was for 7 nights over New Year so we were really looking forward to our relaxing time in paradise. Unfortunately we arrived at the hotel for them to have no record of our reservation and worse still to be completely booked out with all of their Grand Premiere rooms - either ocean front or garden view. Clearly the hotel staff were hugely embarrassed and did their best to accommodate us whilst they tried to solve the problem. We were finally offered a smaller room set back behind the restaurant which would have been fine if this is what you had booked but not when you are expecting to stay in an ocean front villa for a week! The manager was very helpful and offered us free lunch & beer buckets and also free tickets to the NYE gala which we reluctantly accepted. However when we were called to reception later that day to pay the bill in full we were still being charged the ocean front villa room rate which we immediately challenged. The manager was called in again and after a phone call to somebody we were offered the correct rate for the room that we had to take BUT the hotel immediately withdrew their offer of the free lunches, beers etc! Given that it was New Year and the high occupancy everywhere we had little choice to accept but it was not the best of starts. The resort is just as relaxing and beautiful as all the other reviews point out. The food was too western for our taste - we would have preferred far more local options as the ones they had on the menu were very tasty. We ended up going into Candidasa most nights which was a short fifteen minute walk although the manager drove us twice which was very much appreciated. Plenty of local Warungs to choose from with excellent food - special mention to Warung Bintang which sits over looking the rice fields and with a great view of Mount Agung. Candidasa itself was eerily quiet - even the locals were surprised at the lack of tourists. If we ever went back here it would be for a shorter time. Breakfast at the hotel was very good - plenty of options. The NYE gala I have to say was really disappointing from a food perspective. Very western and had clearly been sat out for some time. There were very few people there, so much so that they announced two for one on all beers and cocktails early on in the evening which we naturally embraced. However straight after midnight we were presented with a bill for all drinks which really annoyed us - we complained and after talking to three different members of staff and the manager once again getting involved the bill was amended. We really shouldn’t have needed to do this as it was a hotel offer in the first instance. For us this resort was by no means perfect but maybe we just got unlucky given the other reviews which persuaded us to book in the first place.…
It is a hidden gem in Candidasa area. From the start with the transfer at the airport, welcoming blessing at the reception through whole stay (arrangement of scooter, help with planning, beaches etc.). The place is beautiful, perfectly maintained, with superkind and nice staff. Pool was clean, with water with good temperature, are was clean. Our villa was amazing, with comfy bed, big tv, enough storage space, minifridge, shower under the sky, we felt we are in very luxurious place. If we ever go again to this area, Nirwana Beach & Resort will be first choice. The only minus I would say is breakfast. I would like to have more consistency in quality (some days it was excellent, some days it was...average). And also, this place does not have beach, so keep that in mind (but the view from the pool to the ocean is breathtaking!) Thank you again for our wonderful five nights.…
We stayed at the recently renovated Nirwana for 4 nights. The hotel and its gardens are just magnificent, and each and every staff member is attentive and friendly. The area is perfect for a quieter vacation, and the sea views are amazing. The hotel even arranged a floating breakfast for myself and my partner, as I planned on surprising him. Plenty of thoughtful touches during our stay. I would definitely stay here again!
