Heritage Village Resort & Spa Goa emerges as a sanctuary of cleanliness, with guests frequently commending its immaculate rooms and public spaces. The spacious, well-furnished rooms are a hit, although noise and room placement have been minor concerns for some. The resort is celebrated for its excellent value and the staff's commendable service, which enhances guest experiences despite occasional hiccups. Its prime beachside location offers a peaceful retreat, and the atmosphere radiates cultural vibrancy and calm. However, some visitors have noted that the lively entertainment can sometimes disrupt the tranquility. The amenities, including varied dining and live entertainment, are popular, though the pool area can become quite bustling.

I highly recommend this Hotel for all families with Kids. We could spend 5 days at the property as they have a Big Pool, Play Room for kids, Two restaurants and a vast space to walk around with cats roaming. Its a pet friendly property. They have various activites lined up for kids and adults each day. The best part was the care each staff would offer. a special mention to the incharge of RUMPUS, Mr. Hirendra, Joanne, Trisha and Abigail who gelled so well with our kids. Joanne was there to see us off too. We too could spend time at the centre playing chess, puzzles, carrom or PS for those who like it. I could freely let my kids go around without supervision. The room service would promptly bring water and towels each time we returned from the beach. the beach is a 5 min walk but they provide TUk tuk for the same. I have no complaints and would pick this for all the times of our goa visit. Thanks Team Heritage!

Stayed 3 times at this fab hotel. The staff can’t do enough for you and are always rushing to assist you. Any issues are dealt with immediately. The food is plentiful and fab. The rooms are all cleaned to a high standard and clean towels are plentiful along with toiletries in the bathroom.
One of the plus points in this hotel is the resident Jewellar. His name is John and he is so friendly and helpful. He will take your ideas and create a stunning piece of jewellery for you for a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK. I purchased my baguette diamond eternity ring from him and once I came home I had it valued for insurance purposes and was delighted to see it was worth double what I had paid. I have also bought a solitaire diamond ring from him. He lets you chose your diamond and the setting and then surprises you a day or so later with your ring. I can’t recommend him enough. He will also repair or replace any diamonds or other stones that are missing from your jewellery. His work is to a high standard at an amazing price.
He is just another asset to this fab hotel.

We have just returned from Heritage Holiday Village in South Goa. A fabulous boutique hotel where nothing is ever too much trouble. 97 rooms, a ratio of almost 1 member of staff per guest, smiling, friendly and helpful staff, from top management all the way through the various departments in the hotel. Food was fabulous, plenty of choice at all sittings, curries to die for and European cuisine if you need a break from the spice. Pool snacks available morning and afternoon. Purified water available throughout the hotel so you will never go thirsty, and the ice is made from purified water too so need to worry about having ice in your drinks. Use bottled water to clean your teeth. You won't regret it, we can assure you.

Pool area is great, although expect to be laying towels on beds early in the morning if you find a favourite place to sit. The entertainment team are second to none. Razor, Rosy and Harry are the best. Get involved in the daily game, it's great fun and a wonderful way to get to know people.

5 minutes walk from a fabulous beach and interesting shacks, where owners and staff alike welcome you with open arms and invite you to try their food. Choose wisely, a walk further along the beach to the left will bring you to Wens Den, Goan champagne available, not a bad tipple in the sun, great food, a warm welcome and a free lift back to the hotel at the end of the day! The driver wouldn't take a tip, even though we insisted but he refused politely and said it was his honour. How lovely is that. Also the Starfish, first shack as you hit the beach. A little more expensive but you have to try the jumbo prawns. To die for!

You will need sanitiser and wipes for obvious reasons. We found only a need to use mosquito spray in the evening and no bites so worthwhile taking.

Use the laundry service before you
come home, it is great, saves time
when you return home and the fabrics
smell amazing.

We are going back next year for sure. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Our first time in Goa and wow did we hit the jackpot with this fabulous hotel. The rooms were great and ours had a pool view. The hotel, pool areas and gardens were immaculate. The swimming pool is large with an adjacent smaller pool for children. Everywhere was spotlessly clean all of the time.

The food was fabulous, there were loads of variety at breakfast, lunchtime and in the evening. The standard of the food was first class and the taste was mouthwatering. I have never eaten better curries or food in any hotel.

There was entertainment everyday and every evening, I particularly enjoyed the daily pool volleyball game where guests of all ages and standards participated, it was great laugh and a great way to meet the other guests many of whom return to this hotel year after year and I can see why.

What makes this hotel so good is the staff and there are many of them that work extremely hard to make your stay very welcoming and enjoyable. They are very friendly and without exception have a smile on their faces from the lady that keeps the garden immaculate through to the front of house and animation team as they call the entertainment staff 😊. I will not individually recognise particular staff members as this would be unfair as they all contribute to making this a fabulous hotel.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to a very long and virtually deserted white sandy beach where the Starfish shack is located which is perfect to have a beer and watch the magnificent sunsets. You can walk 4miles down the beach to Colva where the beach is much busier then wander around the town and take a tuktuk ride back to the hotel for less that £4.
Watch out for the odd cow or two taking a stroll down the beach and say hello to all the friendly beach dogs who love a bit of attention. The sea can be a bit choppy with great waves to play in, safe to swim (at the time of the year we visited) with a lifeguard on duty.

The local Taxies are very inexpensive with a trip to Margow to visit a manic indoor market and experience a very busy Indian town costing £10 return including a tip and the taxi driver waiting for you. This is certainly a very interesting experience!

I can not recommend this hotel highly enough and we will return in 2021 for sure

The place is nearby airport with a drive of less than 30 minutes. I would suggest to book prepaid cab from the airport which is quite economical compared to hiring cab from the hotel. Once we reached the hotel, we were served welcome drink and thereafter we were asked to wait in the reception area and our check in formalities was completed very smoothly by front desk. The location of the resort is also quite serene with just 200 m away from the Arossim Beach. We hired an active from Vinal who was soft spoken and understanding which was just outside the hotel. Also the hospitality of the hotel and response to the guests demand was quite prompt and receptive. Would like to mention the services of Mr. Sachin from The Chutney restaurant whose services to us was quite commendable. Rooms was also regularly cleaned and maintained and all the protocols of COVID were adhered to. I would suggest to visit this place and experience their hospitality which is no less than other high rated restaurants. Also would like to thank Ms. Veena for her guidance for travelling. Cheers !

This is our second visit and we are already looking to book next year! We received a wonderful welcome from Salume who continued this excellent customer service throughout our holiday, not just to us but I watched her walk around the pool area asking people about their day/room/food. She is an asset to the hotel. The rooms were large and the bed comfy, sheets changed often (the lads that cleansed the room done so to a high spec. The food in the restaurant was hot and plentiful and the service received was brilliant especially from Angelo (an absolute credit to the hotel) He’d go from table to table, never intrusive, but ask about their restaurant experience... with the same smile/cheery disposition to everyone. In fact all the staff in the restaurant had excellent customer skills. (Well done team). Another mention must go to Rosy who ran the entertainments team. Reception staff were alway there with smile too (hope they enjoyed their chocolate I gave them!). I’d highly recommend this hotel, we used it to ‘charge our batteries’ and the pure ambiance of it done just that. Looking forward to our next visit...

Had a nice 3 night stay at Heritage Village when I visited Goa for a business trip this month. It is a short 25 minutes ride from the airport, and a 4-5 minutes walk to the beach.
Initially I was given a room with two single beds even though I had requested a double bed. However upon request, they did change me to a room with a double bed.
The service staff are very friendly, especially Salome at the front desk.
A word of advice: the hotel does have nightly music (and songs) so if you dont want that noise, be sure to choose a room in the back row, facing the garden, and not the pool.
The beach (a walkable distance) is very nice, and quiet. There are couple of beach shacks, who provide very reasonably priced meals, and you can use their beach beds as long as you eat there.
The gym at the hotel is very basic (a small room with some machines); dont think it gets used much.
The breakfast every day is quite nice, with different items every day. The pool and neighbouring area is quite nice. All in all, a nice stay at a reasonable price, considering it is Goa.

This was our third visit to The Heritage Village Club over the Christmas and New Year period and as before it was amazing.
Check in was swift, thanks to the brilliant front desk staff led by Ganesh, who were always there throughout our stay to offer assistance whenever needed. A special mention to Salome, Veena and Preema. Our cases were brought straight to our room by Marco and his boys.
Our room was very comfortable, with a large bed, plenty of drawer and cupboard space, and a large balcony overlooking the pool and the stage area. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis by Abdul who did a very good job indeed.
The food here is fantastic, from the main restaurant, to the Mango a la carte restaurant and twice weekly there is a Gala Night where the food is laid out around the pool area. Snacks are also served twice daily at the pool bar. The Christmas and New Year celebrations are out of this world, with the biggest buffet spread that I have ever seen and the fireworks to bring in the New Year are superb. Chef Ramesh and his team really do deliver the goods.
The Animation Team of Harry, Razor and Rosy are a daily presence keeping people amused with small games and the daily water volleyball, which really do go down well and a great way to get to know your fellow guests. There is live entertainment every evening, including Santos the mentalist, Ashley with his group Music Oasis, Indian folk dancers and much more.
The whole team from Guitry Velho the General Manager, the department managers right through to the ladies who daily sweep up the leaves around the pool are a brilliant, happy, hard working and always smiling team.
Once again a big thank you to ALL at the The Heritage Village Club and we love it so much that we have already booked to return for Christmas and New Year later this year.

We’ve just returned from an 11 day break at the Heritage Club Hotel and are already checking the availability for a longer break next year.
Our poolside accommodation was very good and since the entertainment finished at 11 o’clock, we weren’t troubled by late night noise. We were always able to get a bed around the pool, if desired, and a beautiful, almost deserted beach, as an alternative, was only a short walk away.
Rosie and Razor were enthusiastic entertainment managers during the day, but were happy to leave you in peace if you just wanted to chill out.
The climate was to die for. Beautiful sunshine, 30 degrees or more each day and with a gentle breeze as the day went on, especially if you were on the beach.
The buffet food was fine, and the two sittings per week at the Mango restaurant were even better. We also took a taxi (not expensive) to the Pentagon restaurant in Majorda, which had an excellent vibe and good food.
Our only negative experience foodwise was at the Starfish shack, which had mainly been given good reviews on here. My wife was about to order a prawn meal, but was advised that 'the crab is very good today’. She accepted the recommendation and was presented with a few crab claws and a pair of nutcrackers. She had great difficulty in obtaining any crab, and when she asked for help, the waiter’s invaluable advice was ‘Use the nutcrackers’. When we went to pay, we found that the crab cost 1600 rupees, about three times the price of the prawn meal that she was originally going to order. Obviously, we should have asked the price beforehand, but we felt that this was sharp practice and didn’t return. Mario’s, farther up the beach was a much better alternative.
On a couple of days, we walked into Cansaulim and took train rides. The fare each time was 10 rupees (11 pence!) and it was a terrific experience. We could have played our over sixties card and paid 5 rupees per journey, but thought it was worth pushing the boat out!
The best thing about our holiday? The staff at the Heritage Club Hotel. Friendly, efficient and dedicated to making your stay as wonderful as possible. If you’re thinking of a holiday to Goa (and why not?) look no farther – you won’t beat this place.
