After months of lockdown and long hours of WFH, we finally decided to take a vacation and step out from the safety of our home and visit Goa. We choose ITC grand for the location in South Goa, direct access to the beach, proximity to the airport and with the expectation that hotel will make us feel safe in this current crisis. ITC Grand gets full marks for maintaining the hygiene safety standards right from the moment you step out from the cab, baggage sanitization, thermal scanning, staff wearing masks properly and all the time and face shield wherever required. Yes, not even once we noticed any staff not wearing the mask properly which most of us are used to it now. The guests were less carefully in masks than the staff. The room was sanitized so we felt safe the moment we stepped into our room. Our room was garden facing with a veranda, we spent quality family time (something which we lost despite living together since lockdown began) and enjoyed the fresh air and greenery. Bathroom well designed and ventilated. Property is huge and very well maintained and encourages strolling. We enjoyed our walks in this well maintained property. Beach is well maintained with plenty of fresh towels and a staff always available to help at anytime of the day.

Tables at the dinning area seperated to maintain the social distancing, mask mandatory while entering the buffet section. All the staff wearing mask and face shield. Plate, glass, cutlery and napkin all properly packed to be open by guest to avoid any human contact. We were well looked after and well fed. Try chef Farooqi's Masala Kebabs delicacies specially ghost briyani and laal maans. Zaki, another staff I must make mention of who looked after us. Chef was kind to sent complementary food for our daughter while our order was being prepared. This to me is a measure of the hospitality. We left hotel after a good and content meal and a pleased guest

The hotel has many guest relationship managers and are always ready to help. For e.g. Alisha who promptly helped me with my queries even when it was not urgent. She made it a point to check with her supervisor and inform me. Olga, another name who will greet you with a warm smile even with mask on. And our special mention of Suzane who got to know about our anniversary and surprised us with room decoration to make our day memorable. To her and to all the staff, thank you once again. Overall we were safe, happy and relaxed and we enjoyed the hospitality. This will be in our visit again list

ITC Grand Goa has been our first holiday after the lockdown and we are truly delighted
Their hospitality is out of the world and the hygiene standards and covid related precariously are truly exceptional
They have gone out of their way to make all the guests comfortable and following all protocols

The housekeeping is very hygienic and their sanitization standards are very high.
All cutlery is cleaned & wrapped in WeAssure packs and even theire food service is modified to maintain proper standards
ITC food is normally delecious but this time it was taken a notch above thanks to the per
sonalised service & yummy dishes. We were lucky to have famous goan Chef Sarita & Italian Chef Sasha meet & greet us and also serve Prawn Balchao , Prawn Curry , Lamb Lasagna & their special sour dough pizza 🍕 is simply delecious

The staff at the buffet were very prompt and offered almost everything on your table to minimise contact plus they have mostly outdoor seating which is amazing. Binod was too good with the kids..

Kudos to Mandira & team ITC Grand Goa we can't wait to be back.

ITC Grand Goa is complete experience of product, hospitality, professionalism, service, beauty and well planned team effort. The rooms are fab, walk in wardrobe, sunk in tub, sit out, latest amenities with zero plastic usage. Mini bar had ITC best quality product that too on MRP, wooden tooth brush and bamboo straw were unique. Loved each bit of it. The itc food, wide spread buffet at coffee shop, the royal afghan's sea food love, kabab & kurries Indian speciality, Ottimo italian speciality restaurant. The open air jacuzzi, the infinity pool the beach side bar and well maintained Busch was icing on the cake. The best was there were 3-4 big events which happened during my stay and went smooth with zero interruptions and overlap. All groups checked out thanking manner.

First of all, I really appreciate the ITC group for giving a special package to Corona Warriors, no other brand has been so thoughtful. We chose ITC Grand Goa for Holi weekend escape with family and friends. The property is huge and beautiful with private and very clean beach. The multilevel swimming pool is a delight for children, though the slide was not as smooth as expected. The food was delicious and breakfast buffet had variety to cater to all taste buds. I specially want to thank Mr Sanil, who helped me a lot with the booking process. Another staff worth mentioning is the gym trainer. He was extremely efficient and kept the machines sanitized after it was used by any guest. The gym is also well equipped with some of the best machines, in fact if I lived in Goa, I would certainly take a membership.

The main problem was that they were overbooked and they did not have enough space for every guest to sit and have a peaceful breakfast. It was total chaos and guests were kept waiting in a long queue. Even when one could finally get a seat, which was mostly outdoors, (only few indoor seats were available), having a breakfast in the scorching heat was a torture. Not a good start to anyone's day. Also, they did give everyone well sanitized and packed cutlery, but with so much crowding, social distancing went for a toss.

The house keeping was lax, there was no electricity in our room for one night, only air conditioner was working and when no one came after calling, we were too exhausted after journey and had to sleep in the dark. After multiple calls and finally an irate one in the morning, I could get someone to rectify it.

Another issue was that we booked sea view rooms and I was a tad disappointed with the view as the sea is too far away. Not the hotel's fault probably, but was a let down.

Overall, a decent property but with scope for improvement in the breakfast arrangements and housekeeping.

Booked 7 nights half board at this lovely property, 4 days gone and another 3 days to go,can't wait to write this review hence writing this from the luxurious suite of this awesome property. Mr Balani the generous GM upgraded us to a suite overlooking the beautiful lagoons and greenery around. Ms Madhurima the resident manager is super efficient often seen doing rounds of the property and supervising the staff. The front office is nicely manned by great guys like Mahipal,Afrees ,and great duty managers like Mahima and Frency. The fabulous food was provided by teams lead by Anand, Dhruba,Kranthi and ably supported byJai,Binod,Raman,Trevor, and special mention of Sasha for making kids menu for my little ones. Overall f&b was superb. Special thanks to Mr Balani under whose able leadership this amazing hotel is seeing still decent occupancy inspite of the current scenario. House keeping staff are always on time and do a great job in cleaning the room. I would highly recommend this property for families as well as for solo stays. The adjoining white sand beach is truly beautiful and greatly manned by professional security guards. I would like to thank everyone @ ITC grand for making our holiday a memorable one .

I could compliment the hotel location, food, architecture, the room sizes, but what has really made my trip memorable is the courtesy and service of the staff at ITC Grand Goa. Every staff of the hotel treats it's guests with so much gratitude and extra care. Special Thanks to Runali who made my husband's birthday memorable. She went out of her way to help me with the decor and extra arrangements to plan a surprise for my husband. It was beautifully done and I am so grateful for her support!

Coming to the location, I feel the beauty cannot be explained until you visit this hotel. The beach is maintained by the hotel and is so clean. It's perfect to spend your day at the beach, since the weather is also great right now. The landscape of the hotel is vast and I loved the Portuguese architecture with multiple lotus ponds created across the property.the balcony area and the bathrooms are really spacious. Rooms are designed to create multiple spaces to relax and unwind.

We were very happy with the hygiene and safety precautions taken by the hotel during Covid time. Every room is sanitized everyday, the restaurant area is sanitized every time someone is occupying the table. Each Plate, cutlery, napkin is untouched and packed in paper envelopes to keep it untouched. During the breakfast they have maintained a social distancing protocol where food is only served by staff and omits the touch of guests. It was very safe and great job by the hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or a family holiday. Kids will really enjoy and very safe to visit!

Cheers 😊

I write this review having been to all the reputable 5 star resorts in Goa in the many trips I've made to the wonderful state. Everyone has different experiences and someone who hasn't been to a lot of high end hotels would probably find my review snobbish or privileged. We were booked for two nights and arrived late in the afternoon to a very underwhelming welcome. No corny plastic flower garland and unappetizing welcome drink which I understand due to the pandemic. Thermal screening and sanitization was a bit cumbersome but understandable. They made it a point to nit accept an AADHAR card which is a bit odd and I had to fetch my passport.

We were led to our room by a very uninspired lady who was not thrilled at giving us a tour of the property or exchanging any pleasantries which is commonplace in such high end hotels. The room was very big, the bathroom was very well designed and the sunken tub was something I haven't seen anywhere else. I could make out some minor imperfections in the paint but most would not be bothered by it.
I decided to venture out and explore the property and it is amazing. Lush green manicured gardens with a gigantic albeit closed multi level pool and direct beach access. If you love the outdoors, you will definitely love the place.
But this is where my complain lies. If the circumstances were normal, the trip would be swell and the sheer class and location of the property would have made up for the lackluster customer experience. But in these times where all activities are closed and pool not functional, is where a great staff and special experience shines through. The staff though courteous, were not very welcoming and not very helpful. Most hotels have staff that wears their hearts on their sleeves and were people pleasers. These lot seemed more than happy to help wedding guests and not vacationing guests. There was not valet service, allegedly due to Covid but i checked into another hotel right after I check out of ITC and they had theirs functional. The staff refused the serve us a coconut water even when we offered to pay.
The breakfast was uninspiring and looked like not a lot of thought was put into it. Table service was late and it was hard to get one in a respectable place.
For the amount of money one spends on such a hotel, I was not impressed and made to feel special. I think it would be in the best interest of the hotel for me to have a memorable experience and for me to want to come to the property again. It was a very forgettable experience and there are certainly better resorts that deserve your hard earned money.

The resort is an award winning wedding destination in India, apparently. That's not necessarily a good thing when you're travelling for a family holiday. They seem to be so focused on banquet services, that it tends to intrude into the experience of other guests staying at the resort.

Stayed there for 6 nights here with my 2 kids. Shockingly we were allocated a room right next to the banquet hall, which has after-parties planned almost every single night. You can invariably hear the sound from the hall and you'll have guests continuously chattering outside your room. Have no clue why this room was not given to the guests of this wedding itself. Thankfully, sense prevailed and the duty manager changed our room on first night (in fact they upgraded us). But our first night was spoiled in coordinating this change.

Then they have a concept of giving away the lawns for wedding parties. So while you're at Afghan grill for a serene dinner next to the sea, you can hear loud bhangra music all along. I don't understand how a luxury 5 star property can compromise on the experience of the other guests.

Also when you're with children, its the small gestures by the resort that makes all the difference. It may be a few ballons in the room, or some goodies for the kids, but nothing fancy or expensive (even McD does this). This was the single biggest disappointing part of our experience. They may have great lawns, but the staff need training on how to deal with kids. In fact once my elder kid was driven away from a public area, because there was a wedding meeting going on in the bar. They even stopped live music to accommodate this "wedding meeting". Staff is also constantly quarrelling because of the high pressure situation around weddings, and eventually that impacts the vibe of the place.

Just to give an example of how little bit of kindness can have such profound impact on children - I'm thankful to buggy boy Vilas who was kind to my kids and even took a longer route few times because my kids enjoyed the ride so much. Vilas would answer all my kid's silly questions, and never seemed in a hurry to drop us off. He in fact sensed one night that my kid was upset and took us on a longer ride under the moon lit skies. That saved the day at least with respect to my kids. While saying goodbye, my elder kid was in tears that he'll never see this "uncle" again. Thankful to Vilas who embodies great devotion towards guests, especially kids.

This resort needs a revised vision statement which doesn't just include maximising banquet revenue or being a great wedding destination. No resort can be great unless kids have a wonderful experience. It was not a bad experience, but could have been so much better!!

I am a retired Wg.Cdr India Air Force. Firstly I want to express my sincere thanks To Ms Richa Sharma Sales head Of ITC Goa who helped me with the planning of the holiday from 01 March 2021 to 06 March 2021.With her initiative we got a 50% discount in the room tariff and food which is applicable to all defense personnel. This enabled me to enjoy the 5* facility.
The Covid precautions in the form of sanitization of the room and dining area was very good.
The dining area strictness about body temperature hand sanitation was very good Special mention for Mr Ananda the floor manager .
House keeping staff did there job very well.
Now the ambiance of the property is exceptional with large lawns flower bed and path ways one can keep on walking for hours. And finally the private beach is a wonderful place to spend mornings and evenings .
Wishing the entire staff of the hotel a great time.

Dear Valued Guest, Namaste! We salute the valiant members of the Indian Armed Forces for all they have done, and continue to do for the country. Our offer of 50% discount on the room tariff and food was only a small token of our appreciation. We thank you for your wonderful testimony of the excellent services you received from ITC Grand Goa, especially from the Housekeeping staff. We are committed to delivering world-class luxury experiences that address the most important needs of well-being and safety though responsible practices that are relevant in the unprecedented circumstances we face today. Thank you for highlighting the efforts of Ms. Richa Sharma and Mr. Ananda. We look forward to welcoming you soon for another enriching experience! Responsibly yours, Bhagwan Balani General Manager

Our wanderlust keeps us travelling around the globe whenever we get a chance. The last few months being stuck at home has been challenging so a road trip from Bangalore sounded
tempting but extremely skeptical given the current situation. We did some homework and found about the comprehensive safety measures taken at ITC.

On arrival there was stringent sanitisation of the car and the baggages. Olga the Guest Relation executive was there to receive us and
was on her toes at all times ready to help make our stay comfortable.
Rooms
We booked two rooms since our two boys( one 23 other 19) were also
travelling with us. We had lagoon facing rooms and the view from the balcony was so serene and meditative!
The ground floor room had open to sky private shower your own tropical
heaven! The housekeeping and room service was really good and promptly attended.
Beach and sprawling gardens.
There is a private access from the
back to the beach...we actually do not have to step out of the property. Its manned by a professional hotel security. When the beautiful showers stopped intermittently we
colud go to the beach or stroll around in the sprawling gardens.
Food
Goa for us is synonymous to its mouthwatering Goan cuisines. We could
not step out to our favourite resturants there like the usual time but Chef Sarita's local delicacies kept us excited for the next meal!
Binod, Dhruba,Trevor n others from FB went out of his way to
make our dining experience always a memorable one. Yes the menu has limited options but nevertheless each dish was so well prepared. Chef Ramesh from Asian Wok tossed us some
really nice dishes some were like the best Chinese restaurants of Bangalore!
Our boys loved the continental dishes served.
The desserts like serradura, tiramisu, shahi tukra, and many others are really nice!
We were having restaurant food
without stress or fear for the first time in these 7 months!
We had booked for four days but ended extending it one more day!
Family vacations are always memorable
but this one with the new normal will be super specially etched in our mind.
Thank you staff at ITC Grand.Your commited team work amidst these testing times is really commendable.
Highly recommend this place!

This shudn't have been the case. Did u inform them beforehand of your arrival? and did u call them before arrival or upon reaching? This might be a one off case but it shouldn't have happened.
