I booked a room for one evening only - the staff were accommodating and really friendly and helpful. Well done on that Damas. I booked the cheapest room they had as I only needed a place to sleep. The room was more than big enough, bathroom spacious. Lighting good. There was nothing to complain about, and I had everything I...

We had such an amazing stay. it was very peaceful and homely with friendly and helpful staff. Nice bed and linen. Great views. Chilling out with a glass of wine on our veranda was my favourite activity. Lovely breakfast.

On the positive side, the staff are friendly, the bed was certainly comfy with clean good linen and the simple breakfast was good. But on the negative side we found the bathroom facilities not so good with the poor water pressure in the shower and very hard sun dried towels. An extra toilet roll could also be added. There is...

We showed up late without a booking, and they put us in a side room, which was very spacious with a great bathroom. The dogs came to visit and were very friendly. It turned what was a bad night driving late into a very enjoyable night. The owners were very helpful with information about places to visit and how to...

What an excellent meal and a really stunning venue. Our host was most gracious and attentive and the fillet steak was awesome. My wife had the smoked pork which she thoroughly enjoyed. We couldn't have asked for a better location for quiet and cosy meal.

I have stayed in 3 stars before and this place is a 2. One step up from a caravan. The beds are way over due for a renewal. The rooms are tired and stuffy. I found a tourist booklet dated 2003 in the bedside drawer which should indicate the standard of the place. Our waiter seemed to provide the service...

Just had a super weekend at Damas for my nieces wedding. What a lovely venue, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners to make it a memorable event. The food at the actual wedding was outstanding as were the breakfasts on both days. Anyone expecting to order two separate things off the menu...

I am the owner of Damas guesthouse and was personally on duty when the guests arrived. They have not made any preliminary booking. A gentleman arrived at reception and asked for accommodation and the price of a double room. The price of R 870 was quoted. Only then I saw the other gentleman and asked if they wanted a double...
