Stayed here two nights as part of a Riviera tour of SA . The location is beautiful set in their own estate of vineyards, the rooms are huge, we had a first floor room with fabulous views over the countryside ( the lower rooms have a small terrace but less of a view- but equally gorgeous rooms ) food -...

This was certainly the best of the six hotels we stayed at on our two-week tour of South Africa with Riviera Travel. The room was lovely, with a seating area outside. Ours faced the 'wrong' way so we didn't have a view, but that's just the luck of the draw. The room itself was spacious and clean; the bathroom was...

The hotel was the perfect start of our trip through south africa. The distance from cape town airport to the hotel is so comfortable that you can risk the drive also after a long distance flight. We were deeply surprised of the excellent food that was serverd for dinner accompanied with fine wine. On the following day we enjoyed the...

Dear Jabba46 Many thanks for your wonderful review of our hotel. I am so glad we are your other "home". Looking forward to welcoming you back in either December or January in your favorite room #38 (hoping I am guessing the correct guests as your profile name eludes me) Keep Well Andrew and your Devon Valley Family

The Devon Valley was just what we were looking for. We wanted to be in Stellenbosch but wanted somewhere quiet. This hotel is a few kilometres outside the town of Stellenbosch and is set amongst vineyards. We had a Vineyard Double room which was set away from the main hotel (and bar) with a beautiful view of the garden, vineyards...

Dear karonM Many thanks for your review. We are delighted we made your stay memorable and the views from our Hotel. All the TV channels are back and working after replacing a few decoders. This was our second visit, and hopefully it won't be our last. The rooms are tastefully furnished and functional, not luxurious but comfortable. The staff are pleasant, but not bothersome. The dinner was very good and reasonably priced, and the breakfast spread was excellent. Great views of the surrounding hills and some peace and quiet made for a relaxing stay....
