A big big BIG thumbs up for Devon Valley Hotel on behalf of the Mountain Slayers Hiking Club. You guys didn't have to welcome the twelve of us with towels after torrential rain showers prematurely canceled our hike (we were after all not hotel guests), but you did. You didn't have to add a couple of more blocks of wood... More

The Devon Valley hotel is a very lovely place to stay! The reception team is very friendly and check-in was very fast. The rooms are clean and big enough. All the buildings are very charming and you feel very relaxed as soonas you arrive. We had a breathtaking view over the vineyards. If you arrive by your own car, there... More

Beautiful setting and old school exceptional service stood out for me! Lovely spacious rooms with good quality linen, bathrooms incl Victorian bath and double shower. Food was of very good quality on every occasion and well presented. Nothing was to much trouble for any staff member and really everyone made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Will be back....

We stayed in this hotel as part of our tour of South Africa. We were met with a cold glass of wine which was most welcome! The hotel has stunning views across the valley and sitting on the terrace looking across was a wonderful experience. Our room was adequate but a little small and it was difficult to find space... Couldn't ask for more from a hotel: Perfect rooms beautifully decorated with a huge walk in shower and a free standing bath tub. Patio surrounded with flowers overlooking the vineyards at the bottom of the hills and the mountains in the distance. Delicious food and very nice staff. Would have loved to have stayed a bit longer.

The best hotel we stayed at during our wonderful Riviera Travel South African tour - and they were all pretty good! The room was a short walk from the main dining and bar areas - but what a lovely room (with WOW factor)! As good as any we have stayed in over the past few years. Very clean, very spacious,... More

We attended a travel and tourism congress at the hotel. On it's own, a challenging affair as travel and tourism professionals are the worst to satisfy in this environment. I could not fault anything - from the conference facilities to the rooms - all perfect. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I experienced the management as generous and efficient... More

Returned after staying there some 35 years ago. As we remembered it, but with changes in accommodation. Spent a wonderful night in a large suite with a modern bathroom with a double shower.
