De Hoek Manor is a beautiful, relatively small guest house located in downtown Stellenbosch, just a block or two from dozens of cafes, restaurants, and shops. And it's right in the middle of South Africa's beautiful wine country, so it's a perfect "home base" for wine tasting and visits to the wine estates. The room we stayed in was very...

Individual rooms with high comfort. Our room had only a small window, but that is due to the style of the building. Other rooms had bigger windows. Comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. The breakfast was very good, fresh and all wishes have been fulfilled. Nice presentation. The location is excellent for starting a tour in Stellenbosch town and also to...

I stayed at De Hoek Manor last week for 1 night with my 2 daughers. Ilse was very gracious and welcoming! They served a delicious and filling breakfast, and the bed was very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Really spacious bedroom and large bathroom with walk in shower. Very comfortable beds, and the turn down service is a nice touch. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A decent breakfast...

We stayed at De Hoek Manor for 3 nights so we could tour the Stellenbosch wine region. Everything is a very short drive so it's the ideal location for wine tours - we had a hire car, so planned all our own tours and were delighted with the region and the quality of wines. Stellenbosch is a lovely town, with...

Staff smiling and very helpful. Church across the street kept chiming the bell at all hours and half-hours around the clock. It effectively prevented me from sleep during the night and after four days left me exhausted.
