I was fortunate enough to attend 2 weddings at Towerbosch, Knorhoek and both where magical! It is a small wedding venue close to Stellenbosch with great attention to detail, beautiful grounds and surroundings and the food was FABULOUS! The staff on both days were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. If I ever have to...

Good morning Esna What a way to start the day with your wonderful review! I shall convey all your compliments to everyone at Towerbosch, because what you have said, is what they endeavour to offer their clients. Fantastic food is always number one on a list, friendliness and efficiency follow and attention to detail is what memories are made of....

Quit place in nature environment with friendly stuff. But you have to like old style british interior like 2 tap water basin and old furniture. Brilliant is that they place wine in the fridge and you pay the next day. We arrived late afternoon 15min before they close the wine tasting and were not served any more, this is not...

Good morning Rainer Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are pleased you enjoyed the natural beauty of the area and tranquillity of the farm (the birds and peacocks sometimes are very noisy) I shall inform the staff that you found them very friendly. Thank you for complimenting our after hours beverage system - we ensure...

We spent a night at Knorhoek on our anniversary weekend. It's a charming venue, with a lovely wine tasting room just adjacent. Our welcome was warm and we were shown to our room, the honeymoon suite. Initially we were very happy with the room - the decor is tasteful, and the room up the stairs and built into the eves...

Good afternoon Thank you for taking the time to write your honest review and we are pleased that the service was satisfactory. What you have mentioned about the finer details should not happen. I have been in consultation with the management and the duty staff responsible for checking those finer points will be taken to task. Regarding the toilet, I...

Dear Quintin Thank you for taking the time to write your complimentary review. As you might have found out, the guesthouse originally was a coach house and stables - hence the various sized rooms. Thanking you for recommending us and we hope you will visit us again soon. Sincerely Carol

We spent two nights in this guest house - very comfortable room and we loved the underfloor heating in our bedroom!! A lot of attention had been paid to items available in the room and bathroom. The breakfast was very tasty and served by very friendly staff too. It would have been nice, though, if management had been a bit...

Dear Gibbsfamily Thank you for your comprehensive and honest review. We are pleased you enjoyed your room and the facilities offered. Our late afternoon manager/cook, Liesel, who is steadily becoming known for her delicious meals, home made bread and friendly demeanour, unfortunately was ill for several days which coincided with your visit. She is always a bonus for our visitors....

Loved our two nights here! A little off the beaten track but not too far. Lovely grounds, good hosts, good wine, beautiful grounds. Our room with ensuite was charming. Has comfortable and spacious guest lounge with open fire, nice for relaxing after a day out.

I booked a room at Knorhoek guesthouse for the charm of staying in a winery. Wine plantations arent visible though from any of the easily accessible areas. The room was very small and old. Breakfast was okayish, did have sufficient options. Service was average too. We did not do wine tasting here.

Dear DM Thank you for you honest review. I get the impression that you were expecting the type of wineries advertised in glossy magazines. Knorhoek dates back to 1827 and earlier and the guesthouse is as advertised on our website, renovated stables. Buildings in earlier times, were placed near water sources, and protected from the devastating East wind. The vineyards...
