The service received from the staff was absolutely wonderful. Every query or request was addressed with speed and such friendliness. The food was beyond divine! The room and bathroom had a charming vintage feel, in keeping with the history of the guesthouse. It was delightful to sit in the back garden after a lovely breakfast and watch the guinea fowl...

I recently stayed at Zomerlust, my second time. As a guesthouse, the owners know a thing or two about hospitality. Extremely welcoming, the room most spacious. The back garden is a tiny haven of peace. The chef went to endless trouble to accommodate my dietary requirements. A celiac's heaven, and that is rare in SA. Most appreciated.

I stayed at Zomerlust Guesthouse last week on business with a party of 6 international guests. We were so well looked after by all the staff at Zomerlust during the day while we had meetings/snacks/lunch. The chef went out of his way to accomodate the different dietary requirements. Thank you so much. The rooms are good and spacious. My only...

I stayed for 5 nights last week at the Zomerlust in Paarl. From the moment my biz partner and I checked in, until the last morning of our check-out, we were treated with great service. I must commend the staff at the tasty and ginormous breakfast buffet each morning for ensuring each guest was taken care of and well-fed. The...

Stayed for two nights last Wednesday and Thursday. Originally got room 1 (nice, large and airey) but asked to move, a) bright lights shining on the window, b) cars & bikes in the street were noisey. Got moved to the stable room. Was OK, again, bright and airey. No shower but a bath makes a pleasant change, only issue was...

We had a very pleasant stay with lovely decorated rooms and friendly staff. It really takes you back to a bygone era.....the only downfall is being situated on the main road, you may have some traffic noise during the night.

A B&B in Paarl. This was a very disappointing stay. The guest house is directly on the main road and trying to sleep whilst motorbikes, racing cars and loud car guards at your window is almost impossible. I requested to move to a room away from the street which they duly assisted with to their credit. The breakfast option was...
