We (3 Germans) stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed really the hospitality of Heather and Kim. The Guesthouse lies ideal for trips around Paarl or into the Mountains and Valleys along N1. A little noisy due to that, but closed window and red wine will solve this little inconveniance. Breakfast is prepared by Kim himself and he's doing a...

We stayed here for 2 nights and could not have been made more welcome. Kim and Heather are excellent hosts. We stayed in the garden rooms and they had a pleasant patio area overlooking the vineyard as well as the lawn overlooking the pool. Breakfast was lovely, excellent fruit selection and Kim does excellent scrambled or poached double yoke eggs!...

We have just returned from our holiday in South Africa and stayed at the Goedemoed Country Inn for one night. Big mistake - should have stayed for longer! We agree with all the previous reviews. The scenic views from the terrace over the mountains and vineyards were absolutely stunning. The accommodation was spotless and our only dislike was the concrete...

We recently completed our fourth stay at the Goedemoed and stay here every time we visit South Africa, Kima and Heather are congenial hosts who spare no effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Given the excellent hospitality and the stunning setting there is no better place for us to stay in Paarl. As other reviewers have mentioned...

I recently completed my fourth stay at Goedemoed in as many years. From the rose-lined entrance drive to the fantastic views over the mountains and vineyards to Kim and Heather's great hospitality, this place has it all. It feels like it is in the middle of the beautiful countryside, but is within walking (or short driving) distance from a nice...

We stayed with Kim (m) and Heather for only a few days, ehich was our mistake in the first place as they are warm and welcoming hosts in their Kaap-Dutch countryhouse. As Dutch people we felt really in place due to the heritage of the house, although to some the decor could be seen as eclectic bric-a-brac meets antique (do...

We started our this year's SA trip with a one night stay at Goedemoed. Though it is in walking distance of quite a few restaurants etc. and definitely not outside the well worth-seeing town of Paarl it feels to be a quiet and peaceful place of its own. The views from the beautiful and well-kept garden and the nice, cozy...

Travelled from the U.S. for our 30th wedding anniversary trip to southern Africa. The Goedmoed Inn made us feel that we'd touched the history of the region. The sunset on the hills and the view of Paarl rocks, surrounded by the vineyards is a beautiful setting. But more than that, the warmth of greeting and attention to our needs by...

Great hospitality and breakfasts from Kim at this charming B&B in Paarl. For me it was a great base from which to play Paarl and Pearl Valley golf courses nearby. Heather has several large dogs, which roam on the property and totally mind their own business, but might not be to everyone's taste. The decor is very tidy, but sometimes...

We were in Paarl for the week and were recommended this guesthouse from locals...and so glad we were able to stay here. Goedemoed is very closely located to Paarl mall and all the quaint /delicious restaurants (highly recommend terra mare, noop and marc, you can bring your own wines for a small corkage fee). I was traveling with 2 other...
