This is a fantastic value for money option. The location is perfect. No cell phone reception and beautiful mountains on all sides. It is also very close to all the main attractions and has a play area and swimming pool for kids. 25km out of the town of Oudtshoorn it gives you the best of both worlds - a truly... More

They are situated in the mountains not to far from the cango caves. Relaxing when you want to get away from city life. One downfall there is no signal.will definitely go back.great for camping or day visit as well.

Bathrooms and facalities not well maintained. Security not up to standard. No cellphone signal. Shop not well stocked and seldom open. 20km to closest shop in Oudtshoorn-so pack well before the time. Swimming pool was green most of the time. Day visistors at braai facalities have full access to camping area.

Camped here while visiting the Cango Caves. There is 1 ablution block with 3 showers for each gender to share amongst the entire camping population. Showers were dirty, some had cracked tiles, blocked drains and looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in months. Rules such as no loud music or noise after 10pm were not enforced as there was... The location is great for a visit to the Cango caves, less than 10 kilometers away. The grounds are well kept and the park is large with separate swimming pools and play areas for chalet area and camping grounds. However the inside of the chalet (brick unit no 5) that we stayed in needs a good scrub. There was mould... More

The Log Cabin not in the greatest condition but if you come to be outdoors then it would do just fine. There is a hike trail. The braai facility not in good shape. For those who think they would want to watch tv, there is no signal. Also no cellphone signal at all which worked fine for us. And for... More

Short of staying a night in auswich, not much in this life could prepare us for this accommodation. In short it was horrendous. It was cold the showers leaked everywhere and the hot water lasted about 6 minutes. The conditions would be better in guantanamo Bay.

Wasnt impressed with the standards of the chalets. We stayed for a weeek and during this time the bathroom floor got wet and dirty and we needed a mop, when we went to ask for one they said some one will come but no one ever came. this is one place I wont go back too.

Beautiful surroundings, and very tranquil but the chalets are really in poor condition. From the outside it looks pretty ok but the inside is a different story. The mattresses are probably 100 years old, very sqeeky, television was so small we had to search for it first with really bad reception. The overall look and feel of the chalets inside... More
