It's a quick drive from the guesthouse to Noordhoek's many attractions and in particular it's exquisite beach. We chose this area because of a family wedding. When we visited - the property was next door to a building site - however we didn't hear any noise, plus that is a temporary situation. We were given the Honeymoon suite which was...

We had a perfect stay with our family at the african queen. A wonderful place te explore the cape area. Nice spaceous room. Marjolein and Marc a great hosts. Just good to know that the pool doesn't have a fence. So you need to keep an eye on small kinds. Otherwise very nice common area with all the comfort you...

The guesthouse is in a lovely setting and the gardens and views were just beautiful. I found the owners and the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast and papers each day were great. I think it is the perfect place for a romantic weekend. Noordhoek is more suited to couples and families in my opinion, but if...

Marc and Marjolijn were extremely accommodating and we felt very welcome! The room we stayed in was modem, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! And it's only a short distance from Noordhoek village and the beach.

A lovely guesthouse. We had a beautiful room and really enjoyed our stay. We felt that the cupboard space was not sufficient for a couple though and the Jacuzzi didn't seem to be working properly either. An enjoyable breakfast each morning, but we felt the English breakfast was insufficient for what we had paid.

This was my second stay at the African Queen, having spent a few days there with my wife last year. Marc and Marjolijn are welcoming, helpful hosts, who both go out of their way to make you feel at home. The property is within easy striking distance of Cape Town (20 min drive), but also Simonstown,Kalk Bay,Hout Bay,Cape Point etc. The...

We had a wonderful stay at African Queen. Our hosts were delightful, and their staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The room was great with a fantastic sized bed and big fluffy towels in the bathroom. We highly recommend this guest house.

My boyfriend and I spent one night at African Queen Guesthouse. The hosts were welcoming, warm and friendly and we really felt quite at home. They had kindly upgraded us to a larger room which was a lovely surprise on arrival. The house and gardens are beautiful and would be very relaxing during summer. The weather was chilly when we...
