Brilliant stay! The best of everything and beautifully decorated rooms with great views. Hosts Graham and Joyce provided everything and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot in the door. Also a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi, with gorgeous garden, never felt so relaxed.

Our room at Candlewood Lodge was perfect. Spacious and beautifully decorated so that it was a pleasure to spend any downtime relaxing at the lodge. Hosts Grahma and Joyce go out of their way to make you feel welcome, giving advice about what's on in the area, and breakfast was excellent with a choice list presented to you. The gardens...

There's a lot of nice things to say about Knysna (not incidently pronounced "nice-na"?) and this B&B! Very nice place, run by the English couple Graham and Joyce. Nice hosts, typically British, very talkative and helpful! Very spacious rooms with nice views ( ask for the 1st floor balcony-ones!). Airco in the room; drinks (beer, wine etc...) and refreshments at...

Our stay at Candlewood was very nice. Joyce and Graham will make sure you know your options of eatery and sightseeing. Our room was beautifully decorated with a gigantic shower which was absolutely wonderful! They were very helpful and friendly. We had a superb view of "The heads" from our room. We had a fantastic stay.

Our party of 4 stayed in Sea and Sand (balcony rooms) in February 2012. This guest house ranks among the best in which we have stayed. Rooms are spacious with good storage, air-con, big bed, wonderful views over the lagoon, spotlessly clean, and a luxurious feel to the whole place. The outside deck and pool are good, breakfast is very...

Everything that can be said about Candlewood Lodge has already been said in many of the reviews. It was like staying with your favourite Auntie and Uncle - very homely! The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and serviced to the same high standard every day. The three upstairs rooms with adjoining balconies suited our party very well....

Our party of 6 enjoyed the 3 balcony rooms with stunning views towards the heads. Graham and Joyce made us most welcome and organised golf for us. They also kept us informed of interesting things to see and do around the area. The rooms were spottlessly clean and the breakfast superb. The staff were immaculate and charming. Thanks for a...
