We were really impressed with the Blue Oyster. Myself, my girlfriend and my parents stayed for two nights. The breakfast was our favourite of the holiday and Vanessa clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. Visits to Plettenburg bay, the Knysna Elephants and Knysna itself are all well worth the stay. The bedrooms were immaculate and we really enjoyed chilling...

My Self and My wife stayed here for 7 days over Easter. We absloutley loved our stay here. From the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out we only got the best 6* service. Everything Vanessa recommended was spot on, from the day trips to the restaurants. We stayed in the Mykonos room which was Immaculate and...

We stayed for one night at the blue oyster and out of several hundred B&B's I can say that this is the best I have ever stayed in. The room was huge with a massive bed & huge bathroom with big bath & shower. This would have been wow enough BUT the views of keys a were magnificent. The little...

We've stayed for 3 nights and the location of the hotel is fantastic. The first morning we even saw a beautiful rainbow in the lagoon. Our room is the best one which is value for money. We could see the Heads in the balcony. We enjoyed the breakfast so much with the great view. Last day, they even prepared a...

What a view! Knysna is well known for its view, and this place has got to be one of the best places you could take in such a scenic vista. We only stayed there one night, and we were the only guests who were there at the time. We were offered us upgrade (only time that happened whilst we were...

Once we found the Blue Oyster (at the top of the hillside) we were well pleased. I think we had the best room in the house which could not be faulted. Service by Vanessa and Charmaine was efficient, charming and helpful. I recommend this small hotel to couples; whether its location and outside space is good for families I'm not...

I would highly recommend the Blue Oyster to anybody visiting Knysna. Vanessa and Charmaine are excellent hosts and very knowledgeable on what to see and where to eat. The room that I shared with my daughter was very spacious and what a fantastic view! Everything was just wonderful and it was the highlight of my trip.
