Very well located for both waterfront and the city Centre activities. Ample parking space, very good food and spacious rooms. The wooden floor and the decor are great looking. Well stocked bar and breakfast spread.

Stayed for two nights early April. Hotel a bit dated and could do with a freshen up. But breakfast was fine and there is a small bar. Don't do dinners. Rooms clean and a good size. Close to the waterfront restaurants - a couple of minutes away

This hotel was pre booked as part of a Collette tour. I was very pleased. It was the first hotel that had a clean bathroom - free from mold in the grout. There were wash cloths and oversized towels in the bathroom as well. The room itself was spacious with a nice balcony. It did not have a mini fridge....

I questioned why there would be a building built like a log cabin in the heart of the seaside town of Knysna and why International visitors would choose to stay there – not very African. That was until I learnt the history and it all makes sense. In a way it is a tribute to the timber industry which was...

We stayed here for 4 nights in April to allow us time to explore the Knysna/Plettenburg area. The hotel is close to the waterfront shops and restaurants (a 5 minute walk). We were a family of 3 with a teenage daughter. The room had two double beds and had everything we needed. It was clean and whilst the bathroom did...

This hotel is a mid class hotel with rating of 3.5 star. Food , 2.5/5 for indian visitor. Place :4/5 Neatness :3.5/5 Hotel is made up of wood completely. Nearby indian restaurant, around 5oo meters. Ask for the rooms at 1st floor as there is no life, Lift is only for shifting the luggage. Good place for family.

We found Knysna rather down at heel, and this hotel sat comfortably within that definition. Whilst only a walk away from the waterfront with its restaurants and souvenir shops, it is located in an area we'd rather not have been in. I wouldn't like to turn left after dark... An average three star hotel (at best) with dingy rooms off...

We enjoyed our stay here in this unusual building. Our room was more than adequate. View was over carpark but we were so busy seeing round the Knysna area this wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good. Staff helpful and friendly. Seating gallery above reception area was quiet and comfortable. Very quiet hotel. Close to waterfront area which was good for...
