The house is located close to waterfront and the mainstreet. There is an amazing atmosphere, as the house is antique and one of the oldest in Knysna. Furthermore, the house is decorated with personal and antique things. The host is very kind and really want's the guest to feel like home and to experience all the possibilities Southafrica has to...

I live in Plett but needed a place to stay in Knysna for 2 nights over an extended 70th birthday party. Bond Lodge was recommended by a friend. What a lovely warm historic home with all the details of a bygone era. I stayed in a upstairs room which is furnished to complement the times. Even had grandma's negligee hanging...

We would not recommend Bond Lodge. This is not because we had an unpleasant stay, but rather a strange one. The website advertises the accommodation as a B&B, but we felt as though we were staying in a room in the hostess's house. For starters, our room had many personal items and tit-bits, from clothing in the cupboards to a...

Bond Lodge is a delightful piece of Knysna history. A beautifully appointed house redolent with its over 100 year old charm, the vintage photographs in the house's cosy bar area give a sense of its unique story. Beautiful antiques and old world touches add to the experience, as does the delightful English country garden, but its the rich and varied...

For watersport and nature loversN Knysna is a wonderful place. Our stay at the Bond lodge's beautiful lodge overlooking the tempting pool, was just perfect. Our hostess was a lovely lively lady with plenty of good ideas to make your stay as good as possible. She prepares a delicious breakfast too! Very good address in Knysna!

Marvellously serendipitous. Delightful old Knysna house built with the beautiful timbers that are the town's Tsitsikama fortune; look among Denise' collection of local and other paintings for work by her internationally acknowledged artist daughter. Denise is a charming and generous host; we stayed in one of the house bedrooms (there is a cottage in the garden) and relaxed by the...

Brilliant place to stay just off the beaten track. So close you can walk into the town, Quay and water front. Perfect little cottage in a peace garden made for 2 who love the Victorian times. Rooms inside the main house are large and breakfast is served right next to a beautiful kitchen.

Stayed here for one night in Palm Cottage - guest suite in garden - a beautiful hideaway - Denise was an excellent hostess who could not have been more helpful. Excelent breakfast taken in main house which has 2 other wonderfully decorated rooms for rent. Ideal stop over for anyone travelling the Garden Route
