Cute spot nestled on the island, easy walking distance to 'downtown'. If you're looking for unique accommodations with modern comforts, you can't beat it! Lovely restaurant, spa and pilates on-site as well!

Recently stayed at this hotel during a driving trip in South Africa. The design and layout was fantastically quirky. All built around the old workings of an old factory. The rooms were immaculate and the staff were very helpful. We ate at a locally recommended restaurant in the evening so I can't comment on the evening meals but the breakfast...

From the moment I stepped into the foyer my experience was perfect! Chris Schutte and his team treat their guests like royalty and their professionalism and hospitality is truely exquisite. I presented a workshop and everything was managed perfectly. I didn't have to worry about any arrangements and every need was met even before I could think of it. The...

Fantastic hotel, with unique features. Great location and really friendly, helpful staff. We were fortunate enough to be there when hotel was hosting a literature event, so had an added bonus of listening to very interesting talks.

The building housing the hotel and spa facilities is a fascinating makeover of an old power station, incorporating reminders of that throughout, so certainly a bit different, but very well done. The location is perfect for the area and we certainly wished we had been staying longer and hiring bikes to see the island or a small boat to explore...

I LOVE Turbine. Steam punk meets retro chic with beautiful rooms and great food. I am in awe of the architecture and salute a fine architect. I have no more to say but your app is nagging me, which is silly, so yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda

The hotel has incorporated modern decor with the old power station, which makes the hotel very unique in its design. All the staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure guests are taken care of. The hotel is extremely clean and neat. The pool area is perfect to relax and distress. We had an amazing stay.

This is a most unusual setting for a Hotel. Built inside a former electrical power house and the fittings include all the machinery both in rooms and common areas. Very well laid out and rooms are very high standard but so are the prices. Well above U.K. and EUROPE this does not come cheap. The restaurant serves a great breakfast...

Wonderful location, the views from the pool are stunning . Refurbished hotel on Thesen Island, the rooms are very comfortable . Breakfast is served in a nicely redecorated environment. The Italian restaurant that is in front of the hotel serves good italian food.
