The rate to stay here is very good, especially as it includes a very generous breakfast. The owners and staff are friendly and the rooms are OK with a nice big bed. However, the downsides are that the car park is extremely small and very very tight; the first morning we had to find and wait for somebody to move...

Good day Emmelyn We are so very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at Bamboo and that your needs were not attended to immediately, we now have a maintenance manager on property to avoid this from happening again. As for the car park, there is a parking available for each room, however it does so happen that other...

We stayed two nights at Bamboo, a week apart. Bamboo was recommended to us by the hospital as being in close proximity to it, so it was indeed very convenient. The welcome was warm and enthusiastic, and the ambience is quite delightful. However, we dd not find it easy to get around, even taking into account that I was not...

As the title suggests, I loved staying in this eccentric and magical guest house. Its got a great friendly and welcoming vibe. The grounds are a forest of plants and trees, wild and caged birds, fish ponds, pools, African art and antiques all crisscrossed by boardwalks. The rooms, too, are decorated with antiques and art. The rooms and the furniture...

We booked Bamboo guest House because it was dog friendly, but what a great little find. We loved the quirky garden, full of amazing plants and objects like old typewriters! The rooms were extremely comfortable and individually decorated with real character and flair. The breakfasts were great too. We all thought the place was really special and so original. My...

I am a real fan of Knysna and have stayed in many different establishments in the area... Bamboo Lodge is something unique and a fantastic experience. From the entrance you can see the gardens are a true reflection of the name, with bamboo growing in the garden. Walking further towards reception, you quickly realize that this is like the garden...

Place is dirty. Needs a lot of maintenance. Couch was smelling very bad. I think their pet friendly policy creates problems because they don't clean the place properly after guests with pets have left. We where disturbed one morning at four o clock when one of the guests dogs started making a noise.Breakfast is a very long process we had...

Bamboo the Guesthouse conjures up visions of hobbits, fairies and "wild life". A boardwalk leads visitors to the pool, main house (restaurant, office, bar, deck) and to accommodation but one feels that a GPS won't go amiss. The plentiful garden creates intimate personal and private spaces. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Good Afternoon Thank you for such wonderful words about our little hideaway forest! Our staff make it their goal to make sure each guest is attended to and taken care of. As for the garden, i think you could definitely get lost in here without a GPS! Kindest Regards Savannah
