Arriving at Villa Paradisa you are warmly welcomed and shown your room. Everything is so comfortable and you are well looked after. Martin cooks a different and interesting breakfast each morning. If there is anything you need that isn't provided you just ask and it is there. Thank you Marilyn and Martin for looking after us so well!

Our two nights at Villa Paradisa were among the highlights of our recent month's tour of South Africa by car. We received a warm welcome and were made to feel extremely comfortable throughout our stay. The guest house has commanding views of the lagoon and town of Knysna. The Villa's private location provides absolute tranquilty. The breakfasts were both delicious...

The room was adequate but rather smaller than expected, described as a suite but actually just an ordinary room. Furnishings were acceptable but rather on the cheap side. The safe was the smallest ever. Definitely not worth the high rate charged. The view is beautiful and the quality of food at breakfast very good. However The owners lack any hospitality...

First time visit for me. We were on our honeymoon and decided to stay 3 nights at the Villa while exploring.. Best decision ever, we were so spoiled. Our room had the most beautiful view and it was so tranquil. Breakfast was so amazing, not the same old breakfast that we were use to and that was a bonus.. Hospitality...

Villa Paradisa is a lovely house with a stunning view overlooking the Knysna Lagoon. The owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was perfectly stocked with everything needed and very comfortable. The breakfast served was exceptional and presented beautifully. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful house in peaceful hilltop, bedroom with terrace to enjoy the breeze and the amazing views. Marylin & Martin are great hosts. Marylin makes time to assist and advise visitors, while master Martin creates top level breakfasts. Wont go elsewhere if lucky to come back to the area... Nana fatima and vincent from nigeria.

We booked this venue months before because of its splendid TA reviews. Its strengths are well presented but, for me, it has a few weaknesses not seen in the several reviews we saw. The building is as externally palatial as depicted but up a very steep driveway blocking final driving visibility on entry. The views are excellent from the property...

We stayed with Martin and Marilyn for three nights whilst doing the Garden Route. Their beautiful house is at the top of a hill overlooking Knysna lagoon and wow what views. Our room was well appointed, clean and also had a great view. The infinity pool was a refreshing place to revive after a hot day on the road and...

Tucked up at the back of Knysna with a fabulous view of the lagoon. Great room with huge balcony facing said view. Spacious, clean. Breakfast, personally cooked by owner Martin is a definite highlight - he managed to make our final breakfasts of a two week holiday very interesting from the rest. Very knowledgeable about local area and restaurants -...
