We really enjoyed our stay at Knysna Country House. Ypie, Erik and Kate are excellent hosts - we could not have asked for anything more. Our stay was short but we would have been happy to stay for longer. Friends who had also stayed at Knysna Country House had recommended it to us. We stayed in the thatched cottage by...

We visited Knysna Country House for the second time. Despite the heavy rain we had experienced it was again a very pleasent stay. The location for a visit in Knysna is excellent: quiet but on short distance to all attractions. The rooms are not very big but nicely furnitured. The breakfast was really great. In addition to the health and...

We stayed for two nights at the Knysna Country House. The location was great, it was a short drive to both 'The Heads' and Knysna with its lovely harbour and restaurants. We stayed in the thatched cottage next to the swimming pool. It was quiet, roomy and had a balcony with lovely views, and there is a comfortable lounge and...

Breakfast was great and plentiful on the terrace in the cool morning air. The pool was one of the largest and cleanest we've seen in South Africa. On the down...

We spent 2 nights at Knysna Country House on our travels through the Garden Route. As we arrived Ypie & Erik were going out but we were left in the capable hands of Kate who showed us around the house and our room. We were given Room 6 which was large and very comfortable with a sofa, masses of storage,...

We spend 4 days in Knysna Country House in Jan 2012. We had a bigger standard room (because booking by HRS). The size was very OK, only the location of the other rooms is better. So if you want spend the most time in Hotel, please take the superior room. Breakfast was excellent, especially fruit-choice. We enjoyed a very, very...

The house had a nice relaxing feeling and a beautiful view of the valley. The family suite had two bedrooms which was perfect for our family. The boys also enjoyed...

We stayed in Knysna Country House for 4 nights in December 2011. We stayed in the cottage which was very spacious, comfortable with its own private balcony. Ypie, Erik and the staff were all exceptionally friendly, approachable, talkative and provided a great family atmosphere. Kynsna provided an excellent all round service and did not even let a power cut interrupt...

This was a very nice place to stay, just 5-10 minutes drive from the Knysna waterfront. We stayed for 3 nights in good size room with balcony in the main house section.
