Charming B&B, nicely decorated and clean. We were warmly welcomed by Trish who is very friendly yet professional. She and her staff were helpful and eager to give suggestions about places to eat and visit in and around Knysna. We would not hesitate to stay at the Wayside Inn again.

Hi Jaelene, Thank you so much for your feedback. We appreciate all and any feedback we get. I am not sure if you are aware, but Wayside Inn was closed in August 2014. On the 1st of November 2014 we reopened it. We do realise that a lot needs to be done to the Knysna Wayside Inn and we are...

Travelling along the Garden route and found this lovely accommodation close to centre of Knysna. This is a smallish old world type hotel which is top value for money. The service was top class and the host was full of helpful advice. If you are visiting this area this is an ideal place to stop over

This smallish Inn, is situated in Knysna Town. It is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was more than sufficient. Thank you trish and staff for a lovely stay.

We wanted to explore the town and feel its vibe so staying here suited us. Of course, being close to the main street and a bar across the street, it is impossible to expect a noise-free evening. But when all windows of the room are all closed, noise is barely perceptible. There is free parking with security roaming the complex...

Thank you so much for the review. It is really appreciated that you took the time to do a review on us. We have taken note of the other issues you mentioned, and the scheduled carpet cleaning is about to take place. Our towels are washed daily but will take it up with our laundry. Thanks and kind regards Trish

We visited for a three night stay on a Groupon special. For the price we paid it was quite nice but at normal rates i would spend some time looking at all the options. Not that this place is not worth a look at, decide for yourself and according to your own preference. The positives: Very central in town, room...

This is a typical 4 star place to stay at. The rooms are small but nicely prepared. The bathroom is perhaps a bit small and dingy. If you don't like noise, don't stay here. The walls are quiet thin so the people around you can easily bother. The buffet breakfast has a nice variety from muffins, bacon, eggs and porridge....

Stayed for one night. The staff were very friendly. Inn situated close to restaurants and walking distance to the waterfront ( not safe to walk at night to waterfront) Was the best shower I have had in a long time at any hotel I have stayed at. Water pressure was strong and the water hot. Room could do with some...

We booked in Wayside Inn as the other places we were looking at were fully booked. We wanted a centrally located reasonably priced place as we were staying only 1 night...we reached around 12pm & left early the next morning. Location wise it's convenient just off the N2, set back from the road in a sort of cul de sac...
