We were very welcomed in this quiet place. The location was perfect, and the room was very convinient for us : clean, well organized and correctly furnished. For a trip in that beautiful country, this is a good stop.

A lovely place to stay, just a short drive (maybe a 30 min walk) up the main road in Hermanus. A lovely couple runs the place, who are able to provide valuable information about the various attractions in the area. As others have said, the rooms are quite outdated in terms of furnishings and decor, but still comfortable. The breakfast...

Stayed for 2 nights in October. Its on the edge of town, so a drive to anywhere apart from the cliff walk. Room and bathroom clean and reasonably spacious. Bed comfortable but decor a bit old fashioned. Nice owners and a great breakfast

We stayed here one night on a whim after a change of plans. Showed up and negotiated a (somewhat steep) price for the night. "Load Sharing" was going on that night so there was no heat or electricity in the entire town despite the cold temperatures -- not Four Pines fault. The kind woman who owns the home provided us...

We stayed in the 'Trip Room'. Pros: the hosts were lovely and friendly, with plenty of advice on where to go and things to do, good breakfasts (variety changes daily) Cons: in the room there was no air conditioning, no dstv, room a bit dated.

We stayed over for one night in December 2013. Although Tina made every effort to make our stay enjoyable, we had lack of Wi-Fi as well as air conditioning services. There is only a normal fan in the room we stayed in, Not even a ceiling fan The room was spacious and the bed nice. We had a very nice...

When we arrived at the Four Pines we surprised Tina as she was only expecting two people but there were four of us. Booking.com had made a mistake with our booking but Tina was quick to fix it without a problem. Our stay was very comfortable and a great location to walk to viewing spots for the whale watching. Breakfast...

My wife, young son (6) and I stayed in the self-catering unit towards the end of Winter when it gets very cold at night. Needless to say we didn't make use of the pool! Pros: Tina, our host, was very welcoming and helpful. Quiet and nice location. Clean room and bedding with toiletaries. Good warm bed - essential as no...

Big clean rooms and excellent breakfast for this Lodge that is located 2 minutes from the Hermanus Golf Club and 3 from city center (old harbour). Tina, the owner, is trying every effort to make your stay as good as possible. Pool- and recreation area is situated at the front only a brickwall from the "mainstreet", even though it is,...

Four pines lodge is a bed&breakfast as well as self catering lodge. We stayed in the bed&breakfast. The owners are incredibly friendly&helpful. The rooms are spacious & bed is king sized and very comfortable. The breakfast is awesome! Almost hotel buffet style with cereal, fruits & cheeses available, and a full english breakfast as well. All in all a very...
