Spent December holidays at HBC. Great for a family retreat. Clean, secure and lots to do for the kids. Tennis courts, putt putt, swimming pool, games, etc. Pub and lounge area great to watch sports. Some apartments have great views each with their own look and feel. The Beach Club is a stone throw away from town.

Stayed here over the weekend as a timeshare swap. The units are well maintained in general and some bits have been renovated recently like the bathrooms. But then other things are still very old and need replacing, like the lounge furniture. The rooms are also very small, but big enough for a short stay. There is no dish washer, but...

Hermanus Beach Club is good to stay if you are looking for a low budget stay, but I wont stay there again. It didnt felt like Im on holiday, it felt like Im at home. I think the front units is preferrable, because they view directly on the ocean, but the back units have no view and even if there...

However not all the apartments are equally accommodating as the one we had, so be prepared to have good accommodation at fairly reasonable prices, but with a variation in the level of luxury (5 star to 3 Star). The club itself is pretty 'child friendly'- lots to keep...

I have booked into the Hermanus Beach Club quite a few times in the past. Recently visited the Club During over the weekend of 1st-3rd July 2016. We booked unit 118 with Sally (owner). Nice and cosy 4 sleeper unit that overlooks the tennis court and a slight view of the ocean.

The midweek break in a 3-bedroom Holiday club unit was wonderful, being virtually at the water's edge but not too far from town. The facilities were good and the house-keeping excellent. Thoroughly recommend it and will be booking again for next year.

We have just returned from Hermanus Beach Club, we experienced excellent service from Colleen who was very helpful and even relocated us after a slight hiccup. We really enjoyed staying there and will definitely be back soon. Thanks for the great weekend Colleen and staff. A. Davids
