Very Economical and beautiful hotel, staff of the hotel was very helpful. The ocean view room was amazing, Food was delicious and the cats were too cute. The view from our room was awesome and Hermanus itself is a beautiful town. One should definately visit Hermanus. Enjoyed our stay at Baleens.

We were looking for some place to celebrate our anniversary and this Hotel came highly recommended on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed as the night spend at this venue was pretty memorable. From the warm greeting we got from Barto, the old world charm of the interior decoration to the beautiful view (R50 extra for sea view was well worth... More

My sister and I spent 1 night here during a 10-day tour of the Garden Route. The hotel was perhaps 10-20% full. Things We liked =================== Our room, #23, was spacious and had three beds. There was a large round table, suitable for my laptop, and many chairs. There was a couch. There was a small kitchenette with a sink,... More

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were shown to our rooms which were nice and big, clean and light. We settled in and went for a walk to explore our... More

The room was immaculate and the hosts were friendly. The hotel is situated in a beautiful quiet suburb. The only problem was choosing which comfy chair in which lounge to relax in!!! The choice was difficult! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Stayed for the weekend in a Mountain facing room (Room 8). The facilities are clean and tidy. The staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. The only two criticism is that First, it was extremely hot and Air-con in the rooms would be ideal for summer and Second, the discomfort of our double bed mattress.I walked away with a slight back...
