This is definitely the place if you wish to stay somewhere local and friendly. The owners are very accommodating and will 'go the extra mile' for you. For example, I hired a motorbike and Youanne (hopefully the correct spelling) allowed me to keep it overnight in his secure parking area. He also gave excellent advice on where to eat, places...

La Rose felt like a second home, from the moment of arrival. I had a wonderful stay! Close to everything! Trust to make this my always accommodation in Cape Town.

It was our first trip to South Africa, and staying at La Rose was a great start to our trip. Yoann is a great host, and both he & his wife made us very welcome. They had a wealth of knowledge from car hire to eating out.

Great location and very central. A hidden gem for those who like to be in a central location yet the rooms were quiet and peaceful. No worries re safety - we felt very safe walking around at night. Excellent parking. Wonderful hospitality from the owner, who made use feel really welcome and also provided a lovely breakfast. The rooms were well...

We stayed at La Rose for 4 nights whilst exploring Central Cape Town and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay even if we had chosen to spend a lot more money. The building itself is well designed, colourfully decorated and immaculately clean at all times. The Location is spot on - From La Rose we walked straight...

We stayed two very pleasent days in La Rose B&B in Cape Town. Excellent location in the city centre, Interior is not spacious, but very well designed , organized and cozy. Very friendly owner, extremely nice, professional and ready to provide helpfull suggestions to his guests. All details (breakfast, bath accessories, furnitures, etc) are tidy and refined. Highly recommended.

We stayed at La Rose for 3 nights - it was our first stop on arrival in South Africa. Bo Kaap is a great area to stay - the streets are really brightly coloured and full of character, and it's only a 5 minute walk from the city centre. The only downside really (especially if you like a lie-in!) is...

We had a very nice stay at B&B La Rose! We stayed for two nights, everything is so nearby, you really do not need a car to explore Cape Town if you' re staying in La Rose! It is a nice, clean, safe and very comfortable hostel, with a delicious breakfast! Good value for money. Only 5 min walk from...

La Rose is a cozy, affordable, charming B&B in the Bo'Kaap neighborhood, which is near all the action and good restaurants in Cape Town. Yoann, the owner, was a great chef, guide, and host. He made us feel right at home and did a marvelous job orienting us in Cape Town and directed us to all the best places to...

Stop looking for a better B&B in Cape Town, you have just found it. We were lucky enough that our friend recommended this place to us. I find it hard to discover something really nice, original, different, cozy, where you don't feel like a burden but more like a most welcomed guest, especially through internet. This was my second stay...
