Stayed 5 nights while in Cape Town doing the garden route. Rob and Charles where great hosts. Room 2 was light and spacious with a shower/bath. A continental breakfast is offered with a cooked option. Had scrambled eggs and bacon and lovely coffee. The house is set in a quiet safe location at the foot of table mountain with restaurants... I always enjoy the friendly hospitality at One Belvedere. It sits in a quiet corner of Oranjezicht and yet is a stone's throw away from the action should you feel you that. Sitting on the balcony sipping coffee or scotch in the evening gazing out over the city bowl was most invigorating.

This is the epitome of Bed and Breakfast. Comfortable, relaxed and with excellent hosts. The breakfast was perfect, offering Dutch style, fresh bread and real coffee. Location is on the upper slopes towards Table Mountain with great views from the balconies. Street parking is free and easy. We found, without a car, it was easy to get around on foot... More

This turn of the previous century home is now a beautifully restored guesthouse in a convenient location - friendly owner, nice touches (like pod coffee in each spacious room), and very good value to boot.

Fabulous hosts. Best coffee and breakfast to keep you going for the day. Perfect position for access all over Cape Town with the quite of suberbia. Street parking available which helps as parking is an issue in Cape Town at the best of times. Of course the fast reliable Wi-Fi is a plus when working.

Wonderful quiet location with spectacular views over Cape Town! Brilliant value and a really beautiful period property to boot. We had a really successful week here in February 2016, memories of sunsets on our veranda, lovely breakfasts, and best of all, Robert & Charles, our two helpful and welcoming hosts. I can't think of a better place to stay in... More

We stay here every time we are in Cape Town. It is very well positioned to access the N2 heading East of the City as well as Aloof Street to head over to Camps Bay and beyond - so its ideal in many ways. The guest house has 6 bedrooms, 5 with outside balconies which wrap around the top of... More

This guesthouse is just simply a great stay. Charl and Rob are great hosts. Very knowledgeable of CT and the surrounding areas. Their recommended driving route to Simon's Town and Cape of Good Hope proved to be spot on for fantastic views! The rooms are very spacious. Although there is no air conditioning, the winds were very strong during our... More

A brilliant choice. Good destination if your hiring car. M3 onto N2 Road and you can go anywhere. Guesthouse very well run. Wonderful mad woman called Judith looked after us at breakfast. She is definitely the female version of John Cleese out of Fawlty Towers. Mad and funny but gave the Guesthouse live entertainment, missing her already. Room is very... More
