My son and his girlfriend spend last night in Cape Town and I booked them a room at Rose Cottage because it seemed nice and central. They arrived at 4pm and had to wait 45 minutes in their car for someone to open for them. We were told that there is only parking in the street available but that they...

This one night booking was taken by my housekeeper telephonically. He also checked in the young couple. I received a call from the boy’s mother complaining that there was not a security guard around the clock to watch his new car which was parked in the street. We only have free street parking at Rose Lodge. I explained to her...

a very good short stay, all activities arranged by Bruce before our arrival allowed us to have the most of it. Too bad we didn't get an opportunity of meeting Bruce to say thank you... Daniel and his friend were very helpful and kind.

I visited Cape Town recently, and stayed at Rose Lodge, 1 of 3 small B&B's in the Bo-Kaap section, all under the same management. Bruce, the owner, runs a very clean and modern-style place. His assistants are very helpful and accommodating, making taxi arrangements, or booking tours and offering suggestions for worthwhile sights, etc. The breakfasts were prepared and served...

A simple, clean and nice Place to stay in Capetown. Very close to the center, walkingdistance to the hotspots. Nice View over the city and mountains. Breakfast could have been a bit better but was o.k.We would come back.

We were staying at the Rose Lodge for 5 nights. As a B&B that had won the title "winner of excellence" in the past two years I was expecting a better service. Our room number 2 was upstairs, had its own nice bathroom and was perfectly clean. We had our laundry done as the staff agreed to do so after...

We stayed three nights in Rose Lodge. The service was amazing and Edward, Amanda and Daniel were the most helpful and kind people. The breakfast was exquisite with freshly baked croissants and muffins in plus of all the other things. The location was perfect for all the toursist attractions in Cape Town and the area felt quite safe to walk...

I was so lucky to get the upstairs room in the second property - it comes with a double private roof terrace! The room itself has plenty of storage, as does the bathroom - the shelves are great! TV was minimal, but I guess that can be seen as a hint to go out and explore wonderful Cape Town instead...

Rose/Wale Lodge welcomed my doggies and I as if we were old friends! After searching endlessly for pet-friendly accommodation in Cape Town, the helpful and friendly owner and staff have ensconced themselves indelibly in our minds. Beautiful, clean, comfortable suites come highly recommended! Thank you again, Bruce. Our best regards to all concerned.

Three pleasant nights at 22 Rose Street, a clean and neat converted cottage in the Bo-Kaap.
