We felt relaxed and at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are big and some have a stunning view of Table Mountain. Located within walking distance from a number of excellent restaurants, pubs and bars. Only a few minutes drive from downtown and the Waterfront. You'd be a fool to miss Julian's breakfast; the best way to start...

Basic B&B, clean, comfortable. Location is okay, short walk to Kloof St, but not much in the immediate neighborhood. Innkeeper Julian is helpful and knowledgeable about Capetown fun. If you're lucky, he will put on a Braii. One night, we decided to stay in, all pitched in $ and cooked. Good folks, really a nice night. The boy can cook....

Lovely place for couples or group of friends. Very friendly and helpful host, very comfortable rooms, nice facilities, Wi-Fi is available though not very strong. The place is within a walking distance from Long Street and Table Mountain. There's a small swimming pool in the backyard as well. Breakfast atmosphere is very cosy and engaging, where all gather around one...

I am the typical 5 start traveller. This was my first time experience in a guest house. I didn't know what to expect and oh boy how much I have enjoyed it. First of all the facility is conveniently located in Cape Town .. Next to an amazing park, with a wonderful view of Table Mountain. Simon (the owner) and...

Very nice all male guest house in Cape Town. Friendly staff. Beautiful Victorian building. Nice atmosphere. Beds extremely comfortable and spacious. The room I stayed in was on the ground floor with access to the front garden. Made it nicer.

We stayed for 6 night at the Cactus House as an ending of our 3 week holiday in South-Africa. It's a very nice Old Victorian style house with high ceilings and wooden floors. First we had the downstairs bedroom with direct access to the pool, because of poor privacy (bathroom in hallway and next to pool) we moved upstairs to...

I stayed for one night only, but what a wonderful experience. Had an upstairs room with balcony and bathtub on the balcony. Nice views towards Table Mountain. Was checked in by Julian, a host par excellence. Albert, who made breakfast, was just as kind and efficient. The guesthouse is wonderful, good quality beds and linen, but what makes the stay...

A pleasant stay in this guesthouse. Nice room with balcony and bath-tub on the first floor. Warm welcome by Julian (sexy as hell), and a great service by Albert. Furthermore... the guesthouse is frequented by "celebrities"!

We booked here on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed. It is a beautiful old Victorian home in a great location. We booked one of the upstairs front room with a balcony and a view of table mountain. We enjoyed experiencing the changing landscape. The room itself is large and well appointed. The bathroom spacious and comfortable. Julian and...
