This is a fantastic hostel right in the centre of Cape Town with a fantastic atmosphere and amazing staff. Positioned in the heart of the nightlife on Long Street this is a perfect location if you are looking to party while in Cape Town. It's location allows safe and easy access to all bars and clubs on the street and...

I found this place month ago, where was the trance party on thursday. So I decided to stay here for this time. Rooms are bit old but clean, washrooms and showers are shared and there are no more trance parties, bar was empthy. There are probably better places for same price or less.

An ideal place to go if you intend to get fully involved in the party spirit of Long Street. It’s located right in the heart of the lively end of Long Street next door to the Dubliner - a very popular bar that quite often has live music and the small little dancefloor is always packed out - and across...

The hostel is different compering to the others... The staff is the best, they have a nice bar inside, the rooms are good and also the price. The problem is the location, long street is very dangerous and people that come around sometimes are hard to keep close. Try!!

Its hard to give this place two stars since the staff are so good but it really is a bad place. Its falling apart and has cockroaches. The walls are paperthin and windows don't keep out any noise at all. The location is awesome but be warned that there is constant car honking outside around 5 am from taxis looking...

The building is one of the grand old ladies of Cape Town, glad to see it still accessible to everyone. Inside it is wood and bricks, full of character, although the rooms could do with some work. The bar offered a different type of entertainment every night, and all the main places you want to visit in town are within...

Everybody else has already pointed out the loud music aspect so that doesn't need to be touched on. Though, I would like to add that granted you are tired enough and have the courtesy earplugs you can pick up from reception properly inserted into your ears, you will be able to get some decent rest. You have to be yearning...

It's easy to spend a lot of money in Cape Town, so staying somewhere cheap like this is great, it's in a great location for bars and restaurants and the staff are a lot of fun and helpful, not the cleanest or most modern place ever, but the cheap price really makes it worth it for all your backpacking needs....

At first I was a little worried how the stay would end up due to so many reviews saying that its all party and noicy but i ended up being happily surpriced. Sure the music was a bit loud some evenings but nothing to worry about. The single room was basic with a bed and a sink, all I really...

Right in the heart of long street... this place offers a morning headache to anyone who attempts to go to bed before 3am. I stayed there one night before moving down the street 2 blocks to one of the many other equally priced hostel options on the block. Book hostels in cape Town by night. It's quite easy with options...
