Urban Chic Boutique Hotel did not disappoint. My cousin and I stayed here for 12 nights in May 2014. This boutique hotel has 20 rooms, is nicely furnished, clean, centrally located within steps to tons of shops, cafes, restaurants and nightlife. It has amazing views of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Guests can enjoy free breakfast daily, cake and coffee...

Urban Chic Boutique Hotel, an upmarket luxury hotel, located on Long Street in Cape Town, in the heart of the beautiful city. My boyfriend actually found this gorgeous hotel when we were looking for accommodation last month for a Wedding we were attending. To our surprise we came to this amazing hotel and fell inlove immediately, talk about stunning!! If...

The hotel utself is fantastic but due to it's extremely awkward position right next to Stones, across the road from Space Bar and down the road from 169 don't think you're gonna get much sleep. It is now 2am and I am still awake for the 3rd night in a row... noise quiets down by arounf 4am in the middle...

We stayed 5 nights in this very central hotel on busy Long Street. Like other reviews have mentioned noise is an issue, more so on weekends. There were a few issues with service, but most staff were friendly and more than willing to help with organizing transfers/tours or just giving general advice. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast...

False advertising or bad management. or somewhere in between. Entering the room noticed some odd things like a broken table leg, a torn curtain, and what looked like a sock or cloth wrapped around leaking shower head. Oops the safe didn't work needed batteries….ummm mini fridge (empty) didn't come on, needed circuit breaker re set. Power points don't work, not...

We booked it for 2 nights only taking the noisy street into account. But the noise was not the main problem' - the room, at first look, looked very nice. Then we discovered that you can only switch on half of the lights "in an attempt to be greener" mention the hotel in a flyer (why don't you then use...

I stayed here for 2 nights in early April (Wed & Thurs nights). A shuttle from Cape Town airport will cost 230ZAR A taxi will cost 260ZAR Upon arrival, I discovered the bar and restaurant was getting renovated so it should be better than before. Breakfast was at a restaurant called Arriba down the road and full breakfast was fantastic....

We booked this hotel based on the reviews on Tripadvisor so we knew more or less what to expect. Being situated in a busy main street you would expect it to be slightly noisy at night as it was. We were there on a monday night and most of the clubs were closed se we did not have all the...

We stayed here for 2 nights on the 18th and 19th March. The room was the highlight of our stay - big, comfortable and great bathroom - this alone would deserve a better rating. The location is fabulous if you want to be able to go out on Long Street, it is in the heart of the action. The downside...

We knew we needed to expect lots of noise on this street and that was certainly the case (regardless of the day of the week, it's extremely loud outside at night), but what we weren't expecting was the basic nature of this apparently '4 star' hotel. While the room was a great size and very clean, it was a good...
