Ruth, the English owner and South Africanophile, welcomes you with open arms to her gorgeous characterful B & B. And, speaking of breakfasts ..... they're great. Both Ruth and her longstanding & loyal staff immediately make you feel completely at home. The rooms are spotlessly tidy with tea/coffee making bits & bobs on the landing. There's even a fridge undr...

Booked without knowing and had a great time there. Rooms were great and the rooftop patio was fantastic. Spent a number of evenings there after dinner looking over Cape Town at night. Breakfasts were great and set us up for the day. The location is excellent and close to everywhere. Ruth was a source of great information.

We spent four nights at the Liberty Lodge and by the end I was pretty much ready to just move in. The Lodge itself is beautiful - a 19th century house with lovely, graceful details. We stayed in the Kipling room on the first floor, and it was elegant, spacious, and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast each morning...
