Stayed at the Cape Cadogan for 4 nights and really enjoyed this charming house/hotel. It's just the kind of place I like, because it was a beautiful home that had been converted into a kind of urban oasis, with lots of white space and tasteful decorations. Sometimes there are quirky spaces, such as the elevated bathroom in our room, but...

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Simone and Pelo could not have been more accommodating. Their enthusiasm for the city is quite catchy. We had room number 2 and it was lovely. Our stay was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. It's within walking distance to some great restaurants and a grocery store which was very...

Our first trip to Cape Town and could not have found a better property. We've stayed at hundreds of hotels around the world and the Cadogan was a standout. An excellent location, all services nearby including restaurants, supermarket and 2 liquor stores. Large rooms, very comfortable bed with fine linen, classy bathroom. Balcony with views. Lounge with free port and...

If you are looking for top notch luxury, this is NOT the place. However, if you are looking for a charming little boutique hotel with a lot of character, I would recommend this hotel. It is a very small hotel right in the center of town. The rooms are comfortable, though some are smaller than others. At first, they were...

We spent 5 nights at the lovely Cape Cadogan in early May. This is a beautifully appointed small hotel. We enjoyed the common areas including the parlor where we had cocktails before dinner each night and chatted with other guests. The breakfast room is bright and welcoming with linen tablecloths and flowers and the breakfasts were very good. Our rooms...

We started our vacation in Africa with a 5 night stay in Cape Town at the Cape Cadogan and couldn't have been more pleased! Each room was unique and elegantly decorated and the staff from reception to security to breakfast preparers couldn't have been more helpful or gracious. The shower in Room 3 made us never want to leave! Each...

It's an old mansion ( XIX ) very elegant and well refurbished in style with the architecture. Few cozy rooms some with terrace, a swimming pool and chaise longue to relax close to the water. The service it's excellent as food for breakfast. The location is strategic to visit the cool Garden district , looking at Table Moutain

Or should I say baie dankie. I returned to South Africa after just a few years with my wife, to do our honeymoon and show her my country. What a wonderful place to kick it all off, seeing my friends, and just relaxing in a boutique hotel in downtown Cape Town. I remember growing up near here, and if I...

We stayed six nights at the Cape Cadogan and thought the hotel excellent. Our room was quirky and lovely and we were made to feel very welcome. THe breakfast were superb and really set us up for the day. Special mention to the staff who looked after us especially the receptionist who was so helpful after we had a little...

A low-key but elegant Cape hotel. Bed was super comfy and the room understated but quite comfortable. Then only issue was the slight noise in the hallway near the reception desk which our room happened to be by. Still, as a light sleeper and early riser I didn't have any problem but you might not secure that room if you...

“I rated the room as average only due to a poor wi-fi connection. The room was otherwise excellent! Wi-fi was important to us because we were so far from home and needed to be able to stay in touch. It may not be an issue for other travelers. ”
