Owned by the More family, this is a colonial hotel near Klondike street. I did not care for the area but the staff was helpful esp Nadine and the breakfast in the courtyard was charming. Stay here if you are not prickly on location.

Stayed for two nights on a visit to South Africa. We have stayed at this property three times previously which we enjoyed but the room we were given was very small and dark. We did have a window in the room but we were unable to open the blind as we were a metre away from the breakfast area so...

Very happy to have stayed at Cape Cadogan. The staff are just the right amount of attentive, without being smothering--a hard thing to pull off in a small hotel. Rooms are well appointed and large. The food is great. You are in a neighbourhood here, so the many close-by restaurants tend to be more local hangouts than tourist traps, which...

Great location. Nice to be away from the touristy harbor area. Walked to great restaurants and even walked to the harbor. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Very attentive staff who are knowledgeable and willing to help.

I stayed at The Cape Cadogan for the first 3 nights of my South Africa trip. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and roomy, and the public areas are lovely. Plus, the breakfast is amazing. What I really liked is that the hotel is located in a fun neighborhood (vs in some downtown or super touristy area) so you are...

We enjoyed our four night stay at Cape Cadogan. We were really glad that we stayed here rather than down at the Waterfront. We were in a much more central location and enjoyed the quaintness of the hotel. Our rooms were very nice. We enjoyed the afternoons out on the balcony. Breakfast was filling and excellent! The hotel staff is...

Cape Cadogan is a super fun, boutique hotel located in the center of Cape Town. You can walk to all of the stores/waterfront. I believe the hotel used to be a house and was then converted into separate hotel rooms. Overall our stay was wonderful. The staff was amazing and really went above and beyond. The complimentary breakfast was divine...

Our four day stay at Cape Cadogan was the perfect way to relax after a 10 day safari. The hotel and grounds are beautiful with exquisite detail, the entire staff was friendly, attentive and willing to suggest places to go and things to do which are plentiful in Cape Town. We kept very busy but after long days of exploring...

A stylish, quiet boutique hotel in a great location, with genuinely helpful staff. We arrived early in the morning after an overnight flight, and Nadine could not have been more helpful. She organised our bags, ushered us into the breakfast room to eat and relax and then hunted down a shower we could use in a sister hotel. A very...
