We stayed at Cape Cadogan for three nights and really loved this hotel and its location. The staff at the hotel are lovely, from the helpful concierge to the smiley gardeners to the friendly waitresses - they are a pleasure to be around. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable (no street noise in our standard room). The breakfast...

Great first impressions with masses of kerb appeal. Checking in was a simple procedure in the comfort of the longue before being shown to your room. Our room was wonderfully appointed with a delightful private courtyard which was a wonderful afternoon suntrap. The hotel was a quiet and peaceful retreat from the bustle Cape Town; but only a short taxi...

I love finding great boutique hotels and the Cape Cadogan was just that. It's situated pretty close (about 50m) from the main central road close to all the bars and cafes but far enough away that is was not a bother. In fact I had a glass of wine outside in the gardens most night with friends and it was...

We had stayed here before but the hotel still has the same high standards of care for their guests as individuals. From breakfast which is tailored to your wishes. Everything from cornflakes to a cooked breakfast comes fresh from the kitchen. The staff find time then to see what your plans are for the day. We got information from them...

This place is wonderful! The staff, housing settings and food is excellent. We went as a honeymoon vacation as a young couple and its everything you expect and more! If your looking for a romantic getaway but close enough to the mayor attractions this is the place!

You know when something isn't quite right? When there's nothing glaringly wrong but there are a number of small niggles that detract from what it could be? That's Cape Cadogan Hotel. The location is really good; in fact that's why we chose it. We wanted to be near Kloof Street and it's just off this busy and vibrant road. Of...

Dear 'brendan2107' Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Cape Cadogan. We agree that ours is one of the most charming areas in the city, and we all love our oasis in the heart of authentic Cape Town at its best. Naturally we were disappointed to read that your experience with us did not meet expectation,...

Recommended hotel as long as you are not looking to be in the heart of the action of the Cape Town Water Front Area. Taxi ride to eclectic Water Front area was only R80 Rand so not an issue - about 15 minutes. Hotel rooms are first class - luxury from start to finish - It appears each room is...

This hotel I would classify as 'Good' not 'Very Good'. Why? Ambience is nice and the staff really pleasant. It's in a bit of a crummy area. Bars and restaurants packed with revellers. The pool is more of a plunge pool measuring 3m x 3m. There are an inadequate number of loungers for guests 'though this area doesn't get all...

Dear 'steadyslack', Thank you for reviewing your stay at Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the ambience of the hotel, which we've worked hard to create, as well as the service you received from my team. The Kloof Street area is one of great energy, and is not ideal for the visitor who is looking for a...

“I rated the room as average only due to a poor wi-fi connection. The room was otherwise excellent! Wi-fi was important to us because we were so far from home and needed to be able to stay in touch. It may not be an issue for other travelers. ”
