Fascinating building dating from around 1770. Many quirks of angle and elevation make every corridor and room different. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. Some had balconies overlooking the atrium which was unique in my experience. If I return to Cape Town I would not consider staying anywhere else.

Great Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room and comfortable bed. Great restaurants to choose from all very close by. Only problem no parking at Hotel but car park nearby, a number of stairs to climb to get into the Hotel, difficult for elderly guests.

This hotel is so cosy and romantic. The staff can't do enough to please and the breakfast is fantastic. The beds have wonderful sheets and the bathrooms are lovely. The location on Bree Street makes walking to many restaurants, shops, the Greenmarket and bars, a breeze. Don't miss the restaurant "Chefs Warehouse" next door.

This was our first visit to Cape Town and we wanted a City Bowl location. We like exploring cities, bars, restaurants and a bit of shopping. The hotel ticked all the boxes. If you want a heritage, individual hotel rather than one in the touristy Waterfront area this is the hotel to choose. We will certainly return.

Beautiful rooms, bathroom in particular, very pleasant, helpful staff and great location. Off road parking available in next block. Long street, Loop Street and Green Market Square all within 5 mins walk, V&A a short taxi ride or drive. City tour bus stops 2 mins away too.

I have been an annual visitor to Cape Town for the Mining Indaba Conference for the last fifteen years and have regularly used the Cape Heritage Hotel to host a number of UK insurers. This hotel has consistently delivered a most friendly welcome and terrific service (in marked contrast to the over-priced hotels down on the Waterfront). The rooms are...

Location was excellent. About a 20 minute walk from the waterfront and a 10 minute walk to Green Market Square. Spacious rooms, lots of history to the hotel, excellent customer service, great breakfast, and more. The price was wonderful on such a clean and newly updated hotel. Highly recommended
