In September my wife and I visited South Africa for our honeymoon, starting in Cape Town for 4 nights before heading off to explore the Garden Route. We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred whilst in Cape Town and we couldn't have asked for a better located hotel. It's right on the Waterfront near to the various restaurants and shops...

We stayed in the V&A in Cape Town for 5 nights in early September. It was top notch - a lovely spacious room over looking table Mountain and the port. The bed was delightfully comfortable and breakfasts were fabulous. Staff were all very friendly and genuinely warm. Really a lovely experience. my only crticism would be the bar is a...

We have visited Caoe Town several times now and have concluded this is the best hotel for a few days in central Cape Town Maybe not the most luxurious but the location is perfect for us with parking right outside, friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast especially if warm enough to eat outside.

Great location. Very close to many different things. Next door to indoor markets with lots of food and crafts. It is touristy, but also very safe. Breakfast was included with the room price, and had many options. We chose the table mountain view room and it was beautiful, however with everything to do in Cape Town, we didn't really have...

The V&A Hotel is located in the beautiful Waterfront area of Cape Town with tremendous views of the harbour and Table Mountain. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up by its location adjacent to the sights, shops and entertainment of the Waterfront. Sadly, in the evening the bar and restaurant is rather soulless but during the day it is...

We stayed 2 nights at the V&A Hotel before setting off on our South African adventure with 2 other couples in April 2015. What an utterly charming hotel! The rooms were very spacious with a large sitting room and well equipped with high end linen and extras. The bathroom and toilet were seperate and large. We overlooked the square which...

While walking at waterfront, and seing to V&A we told ourselves 'next stay in Cape Town we'll stay at V&A hotel, it looks so nice... but our booking was in a cheaper hotel of the same ownership. Then, couple of day after, due to some strange 'booking issue' we have been transferred to the V&A Hotel... unbelievable... dream become reality!!!...

Stayed in the V&A for 3 nights in a superior room. The room was fab, quite large with a sitting area in front of a double full ceiling to floor window which had fantastic views over Table Mountain. Everything about it was lovely. Huge comfy bed, lovely bathroom with a big bath & powerful shower. Breakfast was additional 220 rand...
