After an overnight flight from UK, my wife and I stayed 6 nights in this large hotel very near to the V&A Waterfront. Booking a hotel in a new destination is always a daunting worry, especially for an extended stay. We need not have worried. The hotel was perfect for our sightseeing and golfing requirements. The room was unexpectedly large...

I just wanted to say that we were so impressed with The Commodore Hotel yesterday! After the disappointment of having our Cape Town Cycle Race cancelled, we went looking for a place to have breakfast. The manager of The Commodore welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to park our bikes in their conference room (even though we were...

Our room was just perfect. Every morning I made us some coffee and enjoyed our view of Table Mountain; there was no better way to start my day. However the biggest draw for us was that it’s a short walk from the Waterfront, so we saved money on parking fees as we parked our car in the Hotel parking lot...

We stayed here 10 years ago and returned to this hotel as we knew the area and exactly what to expect. The location is good with quick access to the Waterfront. The hotel has good access to the motorway (you cannot hear the motorway) and the south coast road. Its easy to find and even easier if you have a...

Traveled to the hotel from Stellenbosch on our Garden Route driving holiday. It was easy to locate with ample parking. Your vehicle is parked for you and whenever you Jen it it is brought to the front of the hotel. Be wary though, there is a lot of traffic in and around Cape Town and parking is a problem where...

We stayed for 16 nights in February in room 3043. The hotel is a couple minutes walk from the V&A which has a ton of shops bars & restaurants. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, we also have a good view of table mountain from the room. Breakfast was really great and there is a huge amount...

The hotel is situated only steps from one of the most beautiful, extravagant shopping centers/restaurant hubs in the world or the V&A waterfront. Upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and generous. Overall the lobby was average but paid homage to the seafaring scenery of the locale. Our first night there we ordered drinks at the bar, where they were...

Situated about 5 mins walk from the V & A Waterfront this excellent hotel ticked all the boxes. Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely room on 2nd floor overlooking courtyard/restaurant & pool. Staff were so friendly and helpful from gentleman in Guest Relations to doormen & porters to waitresses (especially Shireen).
